Hammy - I know - don't be surprised if Big Sam keeps one or two players we think are going - and gets the best out of them - not sure who they'd be - maybe stretch to think it could be Bramble - but you never know.
But that's job of a coach - get the best out of players he has.
I'm looking forward to Sam being appointed and saying what he's going to do.
Think he will be over the moon to be Newcastle Manager.

Regarding Gooch and Shambles....anybody notice how Roy Keane transformed Nyrone Nosworthy from a Sunday league player into a decent centre half down at the moggies??????? I'm not saying Titus hasn't had more chances than a Monopoly board but who's to say Allardyce couldn't do something with him or Gooch. I'd say bye to Carr, I wouldn't make him an International for the Isle of Wight.

John- i may have over-reached on Luque - but for $9.5M he has never produced much for us.
Your point I guess is that he needed a string of games to get up to playing speed - and didn't get them - I guess we'll never know - unless Big Sam thinks he can make use of him. He certainly gets the best out of whichever players he works with.
We think Gooch never got a decent chance either.

Krzysb - definitely like the idea of getting young Nathan Porritt from Middlesbrough - if we can get him.
Hey that's almost a full team - of the ones you have going out I would still keep Ameobi, and Ramage.
Think Ameobi may be pleasant surprise next year.

I disagree with your comments on luque,in my opinion he is far from useless.he was, after all, a spanish international but was never ever given a chance by either souness or roeder and possibly shepherd.hopefully the new manager will give him chance, thats if luque has not been completely sickrnrd off.

Christian Wilhelmsson has not signed for Roma yet and still on loan from France... Put some flare on the wing... JUAN MANUEL DELGADO MORENO 'JUANMA' from Deportivo - a great strong defender that seem to be on the market as well...

Fernandes - Everton he is on loan from Benfica - Portugal
but "the price is probably a bit too rich for us, if what we hear is correct," - Moyes told the Daily Mirror. I would take him.

Fernandes (CM,AM) - Everton in and Emre out.
Giles Barnes (CM,AM) - Derby in and Dyer out.
Nathan Porritt (LM) Middlesbrough in (free) and Luque out.
Luke Young (RB) - Charlton in and Carr out.
Wayne Bridge (LB) - Chelsea in and Babayaro out.
Leighton Baines (LB) - Wigan in and Bernard out.
Ryan Taylor (RB,RM) - Wigan in and Ramage out.
Sami Hyypia (CD) - Liverpool in and Bramble out.
Gabriel Milito (CD) - Real Zaragoza in and Moore out.
Darren Bent (F) - Charlton in and Ameobi out.

OWEN must stay!!

T.Bramble / S.Carr / C.Moore can definately go!

S.Sidwell / C.Davies / W.Brown / P.Crouch and especially W.Bridge!

For the country we can't have both Cole and Bridge at the same club! Muppets!

Phil - Gooch doesn't make that many mistakes - certainly not the gaffes of Bramble.

Goouch is a carbon copy of Bramble. Maybe a manager like Sam could get the best out of him but i doubt it. Shame though as he has the physicality and he sure can through a ball.

Cahill would be an excellent signing for any club.

Dunno if Sam will actually get him.

I've heard that Fat Sam has tried to sign Tim Cahill from Everton a couple of times already but that with some real money behind him now he will make Cahill his top target. Can anyone conmfirm or deny?
