El-Hadji Diouf please dont make a big mistake by having Barton and Diouf in the same team or newcastle might have de ja vu with the bowyer dyer incident. Tuncay is a quality player who can play across the midfield and would certainly work well with emre. Ludovic Guily looks to be a good signing but i am still tipping milner to hold thr right wing slot.

An interesting one you missed on Tuncay, found some info on him doesn't look bad for a free, aparently he asked Emre about him.

"Tuncay Şanlı (January 16, 1982, Sakarya) is a Turkish footballer playing for the Turkish Premier Super League club Fenerbahçe SK. He is 1.82 m tall and weighs 70 kg.

Tuncay is probably the most versatile player in Turkey. He has played in the positions of left winger, right winger and striker for Fenerbahce and Turkish national team. Before playing for Fenerbahçe SK, he was playing in the second division for Sakaryaspor. There, Tuncay was playing as a right winger/forward. After his transfer to Fenerbahçe, he began playing first as a striker and then as a left winger. He is known for is energy, flair and dribbling skills. He is arguably the most popular player for Fenerbahçe fans within the current squad (2006-2007), and is nicknamed as "Cesur Yurek" (Brave Heart) and "Fenerbahçe'nin Yuregi" (The Heart of Fenerbahçe.)

He is currently the all-time top scoring player for Fenerbahce in the European cups with 12 goals.

He was cited as an upcoming football star by Arsenal coach Arsène Wenger after the France-Turkey Confederations Cup match in 2003.[citation needed] In the same tournament, he won the Silver Ball and the Silver Shoe awards for being selected as the second best player of the tournament and being the second top-scorer respectively, with 3 goals and 1 assist.

In 2004, Şanlı became the first Turkish player ever to score a hat-trick in the UEFA Champions League, scoring all of the three goals in Fenerbahçe's 3-0 victory over the English Premier League side Manchester United.[1]

Tuncay's latest hat trick came for the Turkey national football team in a World Cup Qualifying play-off match against Switzerland, but a 4-2 result allowed the Swiss to advance on the away goal rule"

Wouldn't mind having a gamble on him for nothing, cetainly the sort of versatile and driven player he's like in the past.
