This one is for the doubters… Yes, Hyypia has lost pace, but let me tell you one thing: he is one of kind, an artist of the defence… No other defenceman can head the ball like him : very often, instead of just clearing his territory, he manages to make a precise pass to one of his teamates… Maybe old, but a great player. Just like Viduke… who will be the best forward of this football club… even at 32. Have a good season. Very good recruitment, Sam… One mistake though : the Barton signing… A very good player, but looks like he’s a god dam fool…

Milner , Barton , Smith , Duff maybe a better LM because the other 3 in midfield with give the team the passion and drive to do well 4 the toon.i dont think many prem teams would like to play agaisnt smith and brton in midfield if u know what i mean

With any luck the stalling we’ve had on transfer dealings will come to an end now that the takeover is close to completion. There’re plenty of other excellent players out there.
