I'm interested in who Sam will sit next to in the stands in the first half - like he used to sit next to Phil Gartside at Bolton. Unlikely to be Shepherd - certainly not Ashley - probably will be Chris Mort. Nice fancy football can take a back seat for a season or two. We've won sweet FA with attractive football and lately we've won nothing with really bad football. Its time for consolidation a good league position and then hopefully trophies then if possible nice flowing football. The players you need to play quality football with the required results don't come cheep and they don't come to clubs that aren't in Europe. Howay the Toon!!!
