The question today: What is our best team for this season with our existing squad when all are fit?
We should assume we play 4-3-3 at home and 4-4-2 away (even if we don’t let’s just assume that for the purposes of this discussion) and we’ll ask for a home team and an away team.
This is quite a difficult selection – so hopefully that means Sam’s had a good summer in the transfer market.
As an example which two of these three play at center-back – Taylor, Rozehnal and Cacapa?
Which of these seven will get the nod for the two or three strikers from this season’s seemingly awsome striker force of Viduka, Martins, Owen, Amerobi, Luque, Smith and Carroll?
So what we are asking for today is a home formation 4-3-3 and an away formation of 4-4-2Â
Also any thoughts on rotation will be good because Sam has already hinted he will most likely need to go to some kind of rotation if only to give everybody a game and keep them all motivated.
One of Sam’s big task this season is to keep everybody happy, because they will not all be able to start every week. However, when you look at teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United there are 4-5 players in each team who start almost every game.
Who will the regular starters for newcastle be this season?
If we get some good teams and solutions to these questions (hate to call them problems because it comes from having a little bit of depth in our squad for once)Â we can always send them to Sam – whose job isn’t easy is it?
