Absolute pleasure having Nobby on board, but I do also concur with Bobby that the toon had seen the best of him before his sale to Villa.

Timing is immaculate, as we have Milner to step into the void now – and I’m sure he’ll have no problems filling Solano’s boots.

Not sure Newcastle Jazz clubs will be quite the same though !

Thanks to Nobby, lets scream him on this weekend and wish him all the best, whatever the outcome. What a great servant to the club he has been!

Now that’s the difference between Solano and Dyer. Both of them wanted a move to the capital for the same “family reason”, yet Dyer was made a target for the angry fans.

I think if you gave your best to the club and shows real loyalty, the fans will understand you. Dyer is a c*&(nt that always get injured and have not contributed much for us in the past couple of 8 freaking years.

Will you stop trying to send us Dyer! We’ve got enough problems at Upton Park without him coming down and adding to the queue at the physio’s table. Mind you, could be worse, he might end up on the pitch. Well done at Bolton – it’s always such a pleasure seeing them get stuffed.

If Diop aint good enough for Fulham, why do we want him? Diouf wants away cos he’s been left out for one game, what does that tell you? I still say we can get better.

Dirk – Nobby only has a year left on his contract. We will never get anything close to Â£4m for him. Especially when we go him for around a million a wee while ago. Sadly I think we would be lucky to get a miilion for him…..which is a real shame cos we all love the little fella.

DIRK – we wont get Â£4 million for Solano as he’s only got 10 months of his new 12 month contract left, basically he’s a freebie that we might be able to get nearly Â£1 million for if we’re really lucky…..

I understand his situation because i only live in part of the country to be near my daughter. He’s been a massive player for us in the past but dont think he’s 1st choice under Sam(should be RB instead of the shite Carr), but i still think he’s got a massive part to play this season if he stays, hope you stay Nobby but if you dont, then all the Best and ThankYou for the memories….

Diouf would be great to replace Nobby and Dire…….Faye, no thanks…

Gutted solano leaving been one of our best players in the last decade, true toon. Â£8m not enuf for dyer and solano, mort and MA wanted Â£8m for dyer on his own! i think if we sell them both we should get Â£12m at least.

We’ll all miss Nobby and I think he’s genuinly gutted to be going as only a couple of weeks ago he was saying how marvellous it now was at St James’. Let’s give him a standing ovation when we play (and beat) West Ham.

PS: would anyone like to suggest odds for Chopra scoring against us, at St James’ this season?
