Charles N’Zogbia made his French Under-21 debut last night in a comfortable France win against Wales in Grenoble.
N’Zogbia played the full game and hopefully this will be one of many caps he will receive with the Under-21 side over the next two years.
France were the better side but found it hard to score until an own goal gave France the win.

Charles N’Zogbia - now France Under-21 international at last
England Under-21s had a good win away against Montenegro last night, as they won fairly comfortably 3-0. It was the first game that Steven Taylor started as captain of the team so it’s a good start for young Steven. Stalwarts James Milner and Steven played the full game for England and it’s an excellent start to their European Under-21 Championship qualifying schedule. James Milner set a new record by being the most capped player ever at the Under-21 level with 30 caps. Congratulations go out to James. Goals from Onuoha, Agbonlahor and Surman gave England the 3-0 win in Podgorica.
It was a good start for new manager Stuart Pearce in his first game since taking the job full time. England’s next match is in Bulgaria on Tuesday.
Comments welcome.

How Surman can score if he is not used.

How did Surman score if he was not used?

Malcolm/Dinko – Surman apparently came on in the last couple of minutes and tapped home the winner. Not sure who he replaced – I took the team out.
