PK-Norway, glad you share my views on Emre, i think if we do sell him in January but i hope we dont then we would need exactly as you say two players for that position. An older role model such as Deco who come straight in and someone young with great potential who could learn from him. Duff is one of the best wingers in the league when on form and i think hel be really motivated this season and will want to get back to his best, just hoping hes not lost any of his pace.

Emre is talented..and i personally think he,Zogbia and Duff,Milner alongside Barton is our creative players..And as i said in another post here..Duff has been injured..but if he is fit..he is one of the Best Winger in the League..Big Sam gave Martins and Zogbia a chance ,think we should give Emre and Duff a chance too..remember the reading match Emre’s run? or the match against Sunderland home..freekick from emre`? He can finish a match either with a brilliant pass or a brilliant goal…give him a chance..if Sam sells him i really expect Sam to bring in one or two creative central midfielders ,one young (moutinho?) and one with experience…

Im with that as well, Emre hasnt been great since he came but under Big Sam stated the slate was wiped clean and everyone started afresh, Emre hasnt been given his chance yet so noone should judge him until he has, the guy is majorly talented and he has shown glimpses of what he can do, personally i think he has a lot to offer the team and i hope he proves a lot of people wrong!!

Come on Geordie Jordan don’t be like that,I mean,we gave everyone chance why not to Emre.What is Emre for you,a black sheep in the family or what.
Ok,Emre and Duff came to Newcastle almost at the same time.The question is?Considering the fact that Duff’s been a little bit more injured than Emre.
Who has been a better player so far,who scored couple of match winners for us including my favourite against the Mackems.The answer is Emre my dear friend.So now i’m asking you Jordan.
Why nobody’s critisizing Duff,why Emre is always the bad guy for some of you?
Personaly,i feel like we never had Duff in our team.

P.S.But i would never want him to leave either.

I like that way team as well Hadji, would have went for Martins as a lone striker as well because of his pace could catch the top teams on the break! We just need to get Duff and Emre fit again then for these teams to take shape!

Azza Jones….I completely agree about the formation against Arsenal today,but my formation wasn’t for Arsenal.
Its a formation which i think its most suitable for all of our away games.

Hadji I dont know about duff man he needs to take a long hard look at himself, and he is definately second to n’zogbia……

I would play the following side against arsenal….

—————— Given
Geremi Taylor Rozenthal Enrique
Milner Butt (Or Faye) Smith N’Zogbia
Martins Viduka

Then take off Viduka for Faye or Butt whoever doesnt start when we have a lead………

I would rest Beye as he looked pretty knackered he needs more fitness which is surprising considering he started the French season a month before england season started…..

I think we need the players to be able to change roles, when barton is back geremi might have to play right back a little more often….Butt is doing well, but I suppose its good to have the depth…..

Nice one Hadji…I agree with u..maybe we need Viduka on away games..he’s a player who can hold on to the ball…But if we are aiming for Counter attack martins will be the best choice…

Rich….I agree for the away games,we should have Barton and Geremi.In that case we have less chance of Emre getting injured again and have him 100 fit for our ”Win is a must”games at home.

I have to say Hadji you will probably get some stick for this team but id go for the same line up as this!!I think Duff and Milner would prob get an even amount of games but i still think Duffs overall game is better than Milners!If we can get Emre playing well then id pick him for the midfield also, for tough away games id play Barton and Geremi probably but this looks good!

Last game’s progress in our team was obvious considering that almost half of starting 11 is brand new.It will take at least 2 more months for out team chemistry to work the way we want it to work.
I really can see us finishing 4th this season with a little bit of luck.To do that we need to beat Everton & Man City at all costs.
