Nigeria gained a well deserved draw against Mexico, when they drew 2-2 on Sunday in the Estadio Azteca.
Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins had an outstanding game for Nigeria and was on the score sheet twice to give his country a two-goal lead before they relented to Mexico’s powerful comeback.
Juan Carlos Cacho grabbed both of Mexico’s goals.

Following England’s professional 3-0 win over Estonia yesterday, a win in Moscow on Wednesday evening will be enough for them to guarantee their place at the European finals in Austria and Switzerland next summer.
England are traveling to Moscow from Manchester Airport tomorrow and should feel confident following their solid performance against Estonia.

Abdoulaye Faye is an excellent example of the type of player Sam loves to work with. He gives 100% in the games and 100% in training.

The Sunday Sun is reporting today some bizarre news on Newcastle’s recently signed striker, 18 year-old Wesley Ngo Baheng, from the French second division club Le Havre.
Apparently Sam Allardyce offered a brief trial to the player at Bolton in January.

Andy Carroll, Newcastle’s 18 year-old striker, currently on a short loan stint at Preston, Chelsea whiz kid Scott Sinclair and his Blues’ team-mate Ryan Bertrand - currently on loan at Oldham - have all returned to their clubs. They were ordered out of the England Under-19 training base in Leeds.
