James Milner – Needs More Goals for Newcastle

James Milner has been talking to the Shields Gazette today and Miles Starforth, as usual has another good interview with the Newcastle player.

James is looking forward to playing on Monday evening, after getting his first goal of the season for the England Under-21 side against Ireland last week.

To be a better player, James needs to add more goals to his repertoire at Newcastle.

James Milner – has yet to score for Newcastle this season – maybe Monday night?

James scored 4 great goals last season and we have to see a goal from him yet. But maybe we’ll get one from James on Monday evening.

James said:

“It was nice to get one in midweek for the England Under-21s, and now I hope I can get one for Newcastle on Monday night.”
“It’s more important to get our minds back on the job, but you always want to score goals, and it’s nice.”

“We know what happened after the last international break, and we don’t want to repeat that.” “Last time we didn’t really get out of the blocks at Derby, so the aim is to improve.”

“It will be tough for us, but it’s nice to have a home game to come back to after the international break. “Hopefully we can get another win.”

“But we know they are a top side, and although they have had their ups and downs this will be a tough game.” “We are aiming to get back to Premier League action with a win.”

“We did the double over Spurs last season, and they were flying then.” “They are a big club and they’ve got a lot of good players, but we want to continue our good league form.”

It would be nice to see James hit a few more goals for Newcastle this season. He certainly zoned in on his shooting in training last season and it paid off with some spectacular goals. We hope James is still working on that part of his game, because the more he can score the better player he will become.

Milner has the potential to play for England, but his final pass needs to improve; i.e. head up and look for the player to make the killer pass……..

He’s a tremendous prospect and so glad we didn’t sell him to Villa!

he’s far to predictable , most defenders will soon wise up to the head down dribbles he pulls off .
you end up to static with your head checking out the floor , head up and run at them milner !!

I don’t care if he never scores so long he is supplying the ammo for Owen and Oba.

aye totally agree, who cares if you dont score many, if you can provide a killer pass that will get goals and win games, we have other midfielders that can score now
