Setanta Sports News Wants Newcastle Fans

The new Setanta Sports News channel will launch in the UK before Christmas.

The news organization is looking to compile a database of about 6 supporters from each Premier league club, and are currently searching for passionate fans who are both good talkers and confident with TV phone-ins/radio phone-ins.

Of course they are looking for Newcastle supporters they can add to their database. They need enthusiastic and passionate fans who can talk on phone-in debates and react when a news story breaks concerning our club, Newcastle United. If you are interested in doing this then please get in touch with the Setanta Sports News representative Ross Ellis – with your name and contact telephone number.

Easiest way to do this is to email Ross at

Setanta Sports News wants to be able to get the fans’ point of view across quickly when a news story breaks concerning their club. Also, if you know supporters of other Premier League clubs, who may be interested in participating, please pass this information on, and have them contact Ross directly via email.

Best of Luck.

Setanta makes channel 5 look nearly professional……..
God knows what the birds on the Sports News channel will be like,
probably Angela Ripon and Janet Street Porter……..they will need to dig deep to compete with the very well equipped Sky team.
I hope they don’t go for six “geordies” who sound like Oxford graduates…..

did you read the media pieces about setanta on f365?

i think setanta do pretty good. their pundits all know their stuff, which is refreshing, and a lot of work’s gone into the presentation.

    no jamie redknapp either.
