Mike Ashley – Sam Sacking is Nonsense

After all the nonsense these past 3 days from the tabloid press that Sam Allardyce would lose his job if Newcastle are beaten by Arsenal tonight has been denied by none other than owner Mike Ashley.

Billionaire Newcastle Owner Mike Ashley – in his spectator business suit

As usual Mike will be at the game tonight, as he was last Saturday, even though he had made a trip last week to the United States on business.

This is what Mike said today:

“I’ll be at the game tonight, and there is nothing in the suggestion that it all comes to and end with Sam if we lose to Arsenal.”

“That’s nonsense,”

Certainly both Chairman Chris Mort and owner Ashley have shown admirable patience with the downturn in our results over the last 5 games. As long as Sam can start to turn things around before Christmas, we think things will be just fine for him.

But yes, that will not be good news for the popular press if he is able to do that. The tabloids always seem very intent on bringing more disruption inside the Tyneside club. The only way we can combat in the future is to be successful again, which is, after all, the overall plan under Mike Ashley.

well he has answered my questions which i put on monday. he looks like he is going to back sam which is good, but we wont get to properly find out if it is true until january will we with the amount of money he is given to take us another step forward. a good attacking performance tonight, as well as solid defending and this will improve the fans point of view.
