There was news recently that FC Vaslui Bulgarian midfielder Marko Ljubinkovic, has been attracting interest from Newcastle United.

Marko Ljubinkovic - 6′ 0″ midfielder said to be interesting Newcastle
Whether this is true or not we have no idea but this kind of news is not too surprising because our large scouting squad around the world in on the lookout for players and the January transfer window opens in a short 17 days and most fans would like to see at least a couple of good players added to the squad. It appears that Ljubinkovic’s Romanian club are ready to sell their 26 year-old Serbia midfield international next month but Newcastle, if they are indeed interested, will face competition from Dynamo Moscow and Lens.
The Serbian International has scored an impressive 12 goals in 11 league games for the Romanian club so far this season and it is not surprising that FC Vaslui are ready to cash in on their goalscoring midfielder and will allow him to leave the club in January.
It was reported recently that Steaua Bucharest showed a big interest in the player, and the club’s owner, Gigi Becali, went to Vaslui to see Ljubinkovic in action for himself. He was apparently pleased and indicated that when the transfer window opens next month, he will make everything possible to get him.
Here’s some biographical information on Marko Ljubinkovic
Date of birth: 12 July, 1981
Place of birth: Beograd, Serbia
Height: 6’ 0â€
Weight: 74 kg
Nationality: Serbian
Position: right midfield
We will continue to cover news of players we are supposedly interested in – and hope that at least a couple of them will finally end up as Newcastle players in January – it’s at least interesting to see who we may be after, and who is available.
Comments welcome.

He’s such a light weight for a 6 footer,
You know in these modern days, I’d love to see better stats on players that are linked to clubs and so on, they shud include speed say a sprint of 100 m and so on..

at least it shows that we are looking at options at right wing, to give milner some competition, because all this ‘duff can play on the right’ i wouldnt rely on that too much.

He also has an irritating habit of slating players put forward by others.
Having said that if he does put some good input into the blog. ( hope that don’t sound patronising, I seem to have pi**ed off a few people lately)
