Sam Says Walters, Kadar Not on Newcastle Radar

Newcastle United manager Sam Allardyce has denied this morning’s newspaper reports linking Newcastle with a £1M move for Ipswich Town’s Jon Walters, when the January transfer window opens.

Sam Allardyce – cross Walters and Kadar off the list – they’re not coming

Allardyce said today he is not looking to add Walters to his squad, as he told the Evening Chronicle early this afternoon:

“I had Jonathan with me at Bolton Wanderers and I am delighted that he is doing so well with Ipswich, but he is not someone I am looking to bring here.”

Sam has also denied being ready to sign 17 year-old Hungarian defender Tamas Kadar, who was on trial last week from his club Zalaegerszeg Torna Egylet. It was reported he was impressive during the friendly game on Thursday afternoon. However, Big Sam also talked about Kadar to the the Chronicle today:

“He is not on my radar at the moment.”

It may be good that Sam is denying some of these rumors, because if he doesn’t in the future, then maybe we’ll be onto a real target. Just a thought, because we know we are going to be linked with lots and lots of players in the next few weeks.

Comments very welcome.

i guess we just need to look harder for another right winger then… he looked like a brute, i think thats a good thing as long as he is quick and can run with the ball

if hes impressive enough , why arent we bidding for him yet ? and 650,000 is like almost 10 times less than what we spent for a twat named bramble

Because there are lot of shit tellers fans whicha are in the mood “you’re not running f*****g Bolton anymore etc” . So we can miss some good young players and sign some overpayed. overused stars. Somethimes i get sick reading those comments.
Hungarian boy is, as toonoholic said, 10 times cheaper than some crapy players we knew to buy and may be 100 times better then them, but they are unhappy because he is not STAR! Ok bring us some new Bramby Boy, we need it in our squad! Scary!!!!!!!
