Keegan So Impressed With Tamas Kadar

Keegan talked to Newcastle World TV and has been impressed with some of the young talent the club has brought in during January.

Tamas Kadar – already impressed Keegan big time

And one of those young stars who has caught Kevin’s eye, both in training and in his performances for Newcastle Reserves, is Hungarian Tamas Kadar. Tamas is just 17 years-old, yet is already a Hungary under-21 International who signed for Newcastle during the January transfer window.

Tamas doesn’t speak English yet, but that hasn’t stopped him from looking very impressive since he first joined the club in January. The Newcastle manager was among the crowd at St.James’ Park last Monday when the Hungarian put in an absolute flawless performance for the Reserves in the 1-1 draw with Man City.

Keegan told Newcastle World TV:

“Tamas Kadar has taken everything in his stride.” “He does not speak the language but he is learning one or two things.”“But on a football field where there is a language its own entire he is saying all the right things.”

“We have also got Fabio Zamblera (who signed from Atalanta last month) joining in now and he is only 17.”

“He’s been playing against the likes of Steven Taylor and Abdoulaye Faye in training and is learning something new every day.”

“It’s really up to the youngsters to prove they can be part of the team, and in our practice game last week two of the four best players in the game were youngsters”

Tamas was highly recommended before he ever came to Newcastle United and he will be on display tonight for our second string against Liverpool Reserves at St. James’ Park kick off 7 PM.

And it would not surprise us if the 6’2″ center-back makes the substitutes bench, before the season is finished. He may even make his first team debut before the end of the season too, he’s that good.

so all the defenders we have are rubbish and in a few years we’ll have no good defenders, well providing taylor stays, along with edgar, kadar amd tozer we could have 4 top cb’s .

i like the progress i’m seeing, except the first team, obviously. seems the 3 boardrrom appointments might work afterall

Why has Zamblera not yet featured at reserve or under 18 level?

The other four seem to be doing well. Bright future for Newcastle?

Love this: Damien Duffs been the smirnoff and red bull again this is his view on stephen carr

“Stephen has been great. He only has until the summer until his contract expires, but as a friend and a player I’d love him to stay.
“I know he’s had his injury problems at Newcastle, like I have, but he is a great person to have around and most of the players would agree with that. He has the experience we need at the moment.”

We have far more promising forward players in our youth ranks then we do defenders, and that is almost certainly why Zamblera has yet to feature but Tozer and Kadar have.

And good luck to Pearson at Southampton.

Just watched the reserves and theres not much to look foward to im afraid. James Troise is garbage in my opinion cant shoot, cant pass and has no vision. Kadar and Tozer were pretty good and our keeper Forster is a quality apart from that nothing to brag about in regards to real quality Liverpool should of won they have some top youngsters.

with carroll and lua lua in our side we would have caused a lot more problems. but impressed with our defence and forster. I also thought beheng looked good.

Beheng wasnt bad but there was a few occasions where he could of challenged for high balls when he didnt even try. Troise for me though is not a good player but on the up side Forster is a top keeper.

am i the only one who picked up on this comment by keegan?

“He’s been playing against the likes of Steven Taylor and Abdoulaye Faye in training and is learning something new every day.”

i may be just being optimistic that he may use faye and taylor in the center defence.

and as long as he doesnt put butt into midfield that works ok for me

Aye Leo,it would be good to think he might go that way on saturday with taylor and faye
Cacapa is just too god damn slow…I think Big sam sold us down the river over cacapa….he must be at least 40….Im 33 and look nee where near as old as him

And he must be the only Brazilian who cant pass or control a ball

Does ‘Ed’ actually watch any Newcastle reserve games..
comments like ‘Also David Edgar can play anywhere across the back-line and he will be pushing hard next season, if not this’
What??? He’s average at best, furthermore… ‘And it would not surprise us if the 6′2″ center-back makes the substitutes bench, before the season is finished. He may even make his first team debut before the end of the season too, he’s that good’ “He’s that good” i’ve only see him play twice, and yes, he is better than the other 3 who play at the back with him but to be suggesting he make the first team based on these performances is ludricrous!
