Reserves Play Blackburn At Morecambe Tonight

The young Newcastle United reserves team travel to Morecambe tonight to face Blackburn Rovers.

Adam Sadler – in charge of young talent at Newcastle

The youngsters could seal their 3rd win in just eight days following a 3-0 victory against Everton at St.James’ Park last Monday. They then got through to the final of the Northumberland Senior Cup, with a 2-1 (AET) win over Whitley Bay last Thursday night.

It’s always worth following the Reserves these days, because they include so many players under 20, and some of them will be future stars . Players like Edgar, Tozer, Kadar, Zamblera, Baheng, Lua Lua amongst others, now play regualarly, in what must be on of the youngest Reserve sides we’ve ever put out.  In fact if we do get relegated this year, some of these boys will be good enough to play in the Championship fairly quickly.

We’re sure Keegan will have a sizable clear out of some of our stars, if we do go down.

Blackburn Rovers were 4-2 winners at Kingston Park earlier this year in Reserve Team manager Adam Sadler’s first game in charge. So it will be a good test for our youngsters tonight – who are the future of Newcastle.

Our future looks bright if you watch some of these boys in action and don’t bother looking at the premier league table. 😀

The game tonight kicks off at 7pm.

If they do well tonight KK should give some of them a go next home game? At least these lads are wannabees, canbees and willbees.

Interested to see how Fabio performs, if it is good he should be tried in the first team before he settles in the reserves.
