The third goal is a strong contender for goal of the month. The link up play, the run from Martins, the back heel from Viduka, and the majestic finish from Owen – Best goal of Newcastle’s season

The game is going to be shown in the states in a couple hours, thanks for the highlights. Can’t wait to sit down and watch the entire game.

The boys are playing well, we need to keep it going. Every win will help attract players in the Summer.

TBH Nick a lot of the commentary is poor, particularly from ex-players, they tend to see only what they want to and prejudices they had as players come through in their current role, best ignored. It was brilliant play from Martins cutting in from the right, did very well to stay on his feet, most players would have settled for the free kick at this point, but to his credit he stayed on his feet, played the ball in and Duke’s step over played the defence and Owen coolly slotted home, at which point my @rse left the chair!!!!

EXCELLENT DISPLAY!! Best match all season!! 😀 About time we played well, like the way we all know we can! 🙂 Great team effort, every player was 110% committed..if we play like this next season we’ll be in the Champions League for sure. .Oh!.. and I’m glad we thrashed Spurs after their fans haven’t stopped insulting our great club these past few months. This should keep all you Spurs fans quiet for at least a year 😛

The 3rd goal was magnificent. Owen broke up play on our 20 yard line, started our attack and ran 50 yards to get into the box to be on the end of it. If Rooney had scored a goal like that it would be re-run on MOTD for weeks.

The third goal was superb the 3 forwards that can’t play together combining to score one of the goals of the season howay man gerrin. BTW Mark dont show your ignorance and racist tendancies true mags are better than that.
