Tottenham vs Newcastle – Magpies Unchanged

tottenham-hotspur.png nufc-crest.png

Newcastle are without without Emre (calf), James Milner (foot) and Stephen Carr (hamstring) for the game today at White Hart Lane.

Claudio Cacapa is also out after news this week that the Brazilian will be missing for at least a month having picked up another groin strain in training.

But as expected, Kevin Keegan fields an unchanged side for the 3rd game in a row at White Hart Lane this afternoon. Damien Duff comes in as a substitute in place of Charles N’Zogbia.

For Spurs Ledley King is rested and Michael Dawson partners Jonathan Woodgate in the center of their defense.

TEAMS:

Tottenham Hotspur: Paul Robinbson, Alan Hutton, Jamie O’Hara, Michael Dawson, Jonathan Woodgate, Darren Bent, Tom Huddlestone, Didier Zokora, Steed Malbranque, Robbie Keane (c), Dimitar Berbatov
Subs: Radek Cerny, Pascal Chimbonda, Teemu Tainio, Adel Taarabt, Aaron Lennon

Newcastle United: Steve Harper, Habib Beye, Jose Enrique, Abdoulaye Faye, Steven Taylor, Geremi, Nicky Butt, Joey Barton, Michael Owen (c), Mark Viduka, Oba Martins
Subs: Fraser Forster, David Edgar, Alan Smith, Andy Carroll, Damien Duff

Referee:  Steve Bennett

Spurs playing 4-3-3 as well, this could be interesting!

Also, Martins’ no-effort hair surely shows that he means business 😀

Owen is playing some class touches from deeper midfield position, The Duke is quality today too, holding up play really well, we need a little quicker movement along the flanks and some service into the box, but we need to get tighter in midfield as we’ve started to allow the yids to play

It was obvious we were going to get beaten/struggle today. Spurs are much stronger than us, and we are away.
