No Team Talk Needed For Sunderland – Taylor

Newcastle United were lucky to get a draw when they last played Sunderland at the Stadium of Light last November.

Steven Taylor – no team talk necessary on Sunday

And an equalizing goal from James Milner, which looked more like a cross but went in off the far post saved Newcastle late in the second half.

Steven Taylor was brought up on Tyneside and he’s again looking forward to the local derby with Sunderland:

“I’ll definitely be telling the foreign lads what the Sunderland game means to the club, although I don’t think I’ll really need to do that,”

Steven talked about the good 0-0 draw at Fratton Park against Portsmouth last Saturday:

“A few months ago we would have lost that game,” “The attitude of everybody and the togetherness that’s grown around the place has got us through it.”

“That’s why we’re getting the results we’re getting. No team talk will be needed for the game against Sunderland.”

Newcastle are no doubt playing very well, and should really be able to beat Sunderland if they show the form they’ve displayed over the last 5 games, in which they have won three and drawn two.

And confidence will also be sky high with the black and whites, as they need to press on ans still try to win all 4 remaining games.

But there’s no doubt it will be a hard fought game on both sides, it always is.

Happy birthday Leo look at the perfect timing. My team talk if i was KK would be in the 80-90th minute when where 3-0 up send on a player like Ramage that we won’t need anymore and tell him to go up for the corner and smash nosworthy in the face and while he is walking off to rapturous applause jog over to Britains number dog abuser and stick the Glasgow kisser on him and award Ramage with a new contract only if he smashes a jaw or a few of his green teeth.

Happy birthday Leo, I am not sure what the significance of reaching 21 is nowadays. Most of the milestones of life seem to come earlier. Voting, driving a car, drinking (legally that is), still a birthday is always an excuse for a p*ss up, what did your parents get you in the end or did you follow Hammies suggestion, it sounded good to me.

who asked dirty harry his opinion or to even open his trap about how kegger plays owen? you know…there are some great british managers of recent time that include of course…sir bobby, sir alex(lucky bas) and certainly as newcastle manager keegan…had it not been for fat freddy and his pompus ways we would have spoiled the big two’s reign(manure and arse). don’t consider chel or liver, base on the fact they only hire foriegn bosses that are not cultured in. anyway, my point is the rest of the lot like arry redsnap are just simply mediocre and not good enough to even comment on what is keegan does with his team, even if the media provoke and answer. wasn’t arry the that took sut ham dooon. hmmm. oh yeah and his son was coached well enough by him that he helped dear old doddy arry warm the bench…es where ever they went. according to legend harry was only offered the job as caretaker for a very short term and so short that he was also encouraged not to bring anything but his toothbrush, not his wife and certainly not his son. anyone disagree with my rant. that bloke erks me by sight.

Its imperative that we once again smash the forces of evil and send them back down the road to their mud huts and caravan camps.
Apart from that….its just a normal game lol

I agree with moomfam. Harry Redknapp can’t exactly criticise the way Keegan wants to play and you can’t exactly force Keegan to play Owen right up front because KK believes Owen is a better player in a deeper role. Before Harry says anything else, he better think long and hard what hes going to say. And to think this guy was considered for the Newcastle job, well forget about looking at him in the future
