Troisi Looking to Leave Newcastle In Summer

It looks like James Troisi will be one Newcastle player very likely to move on this summer.

James Troisi — looking to move on in the summer?

Troisi’s contract runs out in June, but James has been unable to get himself on the subs bench at Newcastle, and he may have already been told to look for another club.

It seems that he has priced himself out of a move to Roda JC, because his personal demands were too great. Roda JC Kerkrade are currently 8th in the Dutch Eredivisie and James had trials with the club in January.

James is now a full Australian international and we think he is now looking for a club to join in the summer, when his Newcastle contract runs out.

James is however, still only 19 years old, but we think Kevin has already taken a look at the player and his contract will not be renewed.

Look for James to join Carr, Ameobi and Rozehnal as players to leave the club this summer. Peter Ramage may also be joining them as his contract also runs out in June, and he could well join Stephen Carr and Troisi, as a free agent.

What do you think?

Scottish Mag – Gattuso would be amazing but I can’t ever see it happening mate.

As for Troisi – he seems quite talented, but I trust KK’s judgement. If he’s not good enough, let him go.

I’m the same as Spyro – haven’t seen the lad….but its inevitable that some younger players don’t make the grade at United, although he will no doubt make a good living elsewhere in football. Kevin knows that he has to set his sights on the highest quality at all levels if we are to have any chance of challenging the so-called “big four”.

Troisi seems to have the technical skills but the managers must see something in him that he wouldnt be able to survive in the premiership.

Gattuso would be a POOR signing. He is no longer performing well for Milan so we buy him? no thanks. i dont want any rejects, and this guy would be a prime example of NUFC going for rejects. Have you guys who want him actually seen him play this season? he has been awful

We shall just get Di Maria to replace Milner and Troisi 🙂

Would like to have seen Troisi get a couple of run outs. Have always heard good things and he’s an aussie international. Would much rather keep him than Duff.

Please let Ramage go with him… I dont care wether he is a local lad, at 23 years old he should be a first teamer, if he was good enough, plus he is the worst passer of a ball ive ever seen

I like Troisi, he’ll do a good job whereever he ends up, for a 19 year old he’s canny, we’d get more out of him if we could loan him to Leeds or Norwich or somewhere like that I think, but you’ve gotta have faith in Keegan!

I don’t understand why he’s letting him go when he could’ve just loan him to clubs like Hull,Crystal Palace or even Dinamo Zagreb who is perfect example of Viduka’s career cause they seem to like the Ausees.

We have to trust KK. He sees them every day at training and has his other coaches for advice too. So if Troisi goes there must be a good reason. Same goes for Shola etc. It is the report that NZogbia is now being criticised by other players for his attitude. Perhaps he threw his dummy around the training ground and hit some other player in the eye? A pity. He has such potential but if KK thinks it best then we must trust that decision too. KK may win the day but if the lad is not committed to us then I feel no commitment to him.

He is not really an Aussie international. He has played as much for our first team as he has Newcastle’s first. One or two brief appearances and not during important games. At least I dont think so.

i got a feeling spurs dont really want him eric, which is disappointing. If they came in for him then we would know what he was really about by the decision he makes.

I think Gattuso said he wants to go back to Rangers before retiring, so if he were to leave Milan he’d probably go there.

Well then, I think if these reports are true the excitement of a new challenge and new surroundings would get him performing again. Only time will tell.

Gattuso is a bit of a yellow card magnet, but as hard as nails, opposition know he’s there. Sort of a more skillfull Savage.

If we got him and a playmaker it’d be simple, do exactly what Milan do with him and Pirlo. Gattuso kicks the sh*t out of the other team, wins the ball back and gives it to Pirlo.

In Fifa 07 my first transfer was bringing Gatusso to NUFC and it worked cause I won the title in the EPL. So if he comes, …. who knows 😉 . He would be a fantastic buy as CDM, but it will be very hard to get him. Oh BTW I do not think he was the only one who played a worse season at Milan.

Troisi is a player I do not know, but if they are willing to let him go than they should have their reasons. They are bringing in youngsters and not all of them will make the first team, that is normal.

gattuso wont end up at newcastle.
i doubt he’ll even leave milan tbh. i agree with 51times though. he’s always said how much he loves rangers and how he wants to go back before he retires, even finish his carreer there.

Troisi played very well in the last reserve game of the season. I’am concerned that there will be little chance of any of the young guns ever getting a run out in the first team over the next couple of years. Taylor and Ramage have been lucky enough to get good run outs in recent years. I think KK just wants to use them as cover and nothing else. Players need competition to keep them on their toes imo. Why couldnt Edgar and Carroll have been used late on against Pompey, if they have no chance where does that leave Troisi?
