Keegan Has Inpired Character in Newcastle’s Players

Habib Beye has again praised the way Kevin Keegan has inspired his players at Newcastle United.

Kevin Keegan – inspired character is the players at Newcastle

Beye has said the team would have lost the game at West Ham when they went 2-0 down, but Kevin’s many talks with the squad has brought out the great character in lots of the players.

Beye thinks the team spirit at Newcastle now is top class, and not easily broken by going down, even by 2 goals, in games.

Beye told the Newcastle Journal this morning:

“Kevin Keegan has inspired character. We would have lost the West Ham game a few months ago. We would have lost by four or five, now it is different.”

“That says everything about Kevin’s team. We didn’t play well against Sunderland and still won, and it was the same against West Ham. The first 20 minutes wasn’t great but then we responded.”

“It was great to get a good result at West Ham because it sets us up for a massive game against Chelsea. You need plenty of character for big games like Chelsea.”

We just love the way the players speak so highly of Kevin Keegan, because it augers so well for the future.

We also believe that we should have Kevin talk to any transfer target, about how he sees the Newcastle team progressing, and what the role of the player will be in his new team.

That will certainly help with the signings in the summer.

Kevin is a great study in leadership. He oozes leadership, and of course he’s also so positive and confident. His attitude would have made him successful in any line of work – but we’re happy a lot of his success has been at Newcastle United.

And there’s more to come – we’re sure of that too.  😀

What is more important is the character of the manager and his ability to get the best out of his players and KK has it in bucketfuls. A good leader is worth his weight in gold.
What would FS be worth his weight in. 🙂

If FS was worth his weight in gold, i(or even Mort/Ashley) would waste no time in taking him to a foundry. He would be wasted as a manager of a club…
