Newcastle Transfer News Today

11:55 am, Thursday, May 1st, 2008 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 198 Comments

Not too much news today on the transfer although there’s another report that Kevin Keegan is indeed interested in Barcelona’s Deco.

eren-derdiyok-43.jpg

Eren Derdiyok - he’s the number 9 in the air

We think Deco may want to move to the Premier league and we also believe he would be a good buy for the club. But whether we could attract a player of Deco’s ability to Tyneside remains to be seen – but he could do a job at Newcastle for at least the next 3 seasons.

Another interesting story today is that 19 year-old 6’3” Swiss striker Eren Derdiyok of Swiss club FC Basle wants to join Newcastle. He seems to be able to score goals too, having scored 10 goals this season for his club in 23 outings.

Eren Derdiyok has spoken of his desire to play in the Premier League alongside Michael Owen at Newcastle, and he’s already a full Swiss International, having scored against England in February.

So that’s some good publicity for the club and we think Kevin should at least check out the youngster.

Also some news late yesterday that Newcastle may be interested in speedy winger Joaquin of Valencia, but we’re not too sure if that’s an old story, just being regurgitated.

However, we think he’s the type of player who would interest Kevin Keegan so there may be some truth in it.

Comments always welcome.

  • 2 adam // May 1, 2008 at 12:00 PM

dont want deco. hes past it!

  • 3 toonbirchy // May 1, 2008 at 12:06 PM

dunne, silvestre, sidwell, pandev/elano and swp would be quality signings for the summer

  • 4 adam // May 1, 2008 at 12:08 PM

    silvestre!!!! hes the french bramble

  • 5 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 12:13 PM

  • 6 Leo // May 1, 2008 at 12:16 PM

this article would have been perfect for the end of the day when all the arguements and discusions from the other deco related article was sorted, it would mean that we can then have a nother look at it

  • 7 geordie in taipei // May 1, 2008 at 12:21 PM

I was reading the other day that Deco is always out on the Booze with Ronalhino. What type of form has Deco been in when he’s been playing? anyone know?

  • 8 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 12:25 PM

Deco has been terrible this season.

  • 9 Slam Dunc // May 1, 2008 at 12:26 PM

Tonight see’s Fiorentina v Rangers where Newcastle have been tracking and considering a bif for Rangers centre half Carlos Cuellar. By all accounts, unlike Boumsong, he plays well in all competitions rather than just the SPL.

So will be interesting to see how he does in a big test for Rangers tonight against a quality Fiorentina side.

    This shows Newcastle’s defence targets:

If your on here tom_toon, what do you think of Guillame Hoarau?

plays for Le Havre in French Ligue 2

he’s 24, 191cm, 6’4″ or 6’5″ whilst ligue 2 is not as strong he has scored 31 goals in 40 games, averaging a goal every 112 minutes of play

you can see him on http://www.frenchleague.com

    looks like John Carew

  • 12 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 12:42 PM

ey, American pie, i play in that league with penzance

  • 13 toon_boy // May 1, 2008 at 1:10 PM

Dont want Deco, he. . .is. . .rubbish!!!Past it and doesnt have the right attitude for epl and def not for NUFC!

  • 14 Obafan // May 1, 2008 at 1:15 PM

Damned again nothing mentionned about Gomis or Arshavin.

These 2 players would be fantastic signings to start with. If I was manager (if if if :-) ) I would go after them, but okay I’m not.

Deco; a part of me says YES; I think a new league would do him good; I think he would prove that he is not past it. On the other hand a part of me says NO, because his form is getting worser by the year and also his attitude is not always that good (remeber Euro 2004 when he was substituted).

Cuellar and Arshavin should be the 2 players who Wise and his staff should be looking at tonight. Let’s hope and burn some candles.

  • 15 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 1:27 PM

please god, let us be scouting arshavin tonight, and i would love big baf also. i could see big baf becoming a huge favourite

  • 16 Eric // May 1, 2008 at 1:39 PM

The Swiss bloke should be one for the future we could have a look at definitely. Deco? No way will he want Tyneside. Is Rangers v Fiorentina on TV tonight? If so we should check out this Cuellar’s performance. While we are at it we could look to see if KK, Mac and Mort are there to watch. Anybody we could use playing for the Italians?

  • 17 John // May 1, 2008 at 1:45 PM

looked like Houghton did training the other day..pics on nufc.com..Were was king kev then?

  • 18 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 1:45 PM

i would mind that kuzmanovic, he seems class. lot better solution to are midfield than modric

  • 19 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 1:47 PM

i was thinking exactly the same, thing. he may have gone to watch a game somewhere

  • 20 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 1:56 PM

Newcastle United are keeping tabs on Hamburg striker Ivan Olic.
Toon scouts have already checked on the Croatia international, though they will face competition from Portsmouth at the end of the season.

maybe we were watching vdv instead of ollic

  • 21 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 1:58 PM

Olic is great. One of my wants to the toon. Didnt think we would scout him though.

  • 22 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 2:07 PM

    ollic is alright

  • 23 Eric // May 1, 2008 at 2:12 PM

Why is it we seem to be competing with the likes of Aston Villa, Spurs, and Pompey for players? We must have more to offer surely? They should be crowding round us for our cast-offs!
Have not heard of Olic and still curious about Rangers and Fiorentina match. If Hughton took training then KK was not off looking at a defender. He may have only gone for a game of golf!. I think Mac goes for the beer and sandwiches.

  • 24 Oba // May 1, 2008 at 2:26 PM

Guys, we won’t be scouting Arshavin tonight, because he is banned.

  • 25 ToonTex // May 1, 2008 at 2:41 PM

I hate any player that flashes the yellow card sign at the ref after every foul. Deco is one of those players.

  • 26 Jinal // May 1, 2008 at 2:56 PM

I don’t want Deco to come primarily because of his wrong attitude. And did you see him play against Manure on Tuesday? Mediocre at best

  • 27 GeordieLampard7 // May 1, 2008 at 3:07 PM

Geordie Gerrard in fine form today.

Football manager taste nice when you swallowed it mate?

  • 28 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 3:19 PM

His game against the mancs was actually one of his better performances this season. That says it all I think.

  • 29 ende // May 1, 2008 at 3:20 PM

Redundant post? I hate these summaries articles.

  • 30 James // May 1, 2008 at 3:22 PM

The problem KK is facing that without European football we have to go for those little gems that might turn out to be superstars (Ginola, Tino, Cesc). But for every one of those you could end up with a bunch of foreign wasters who struggle with the speed of the PL.

But sometimes if you sign someone big then other top class players want to come and play alongside them. A possible option for KK

A lot of footballers and clubs will be watching our game against Chelsea on Monday. So as a team we need to look like one that would be good to play in, and as fans give them an atmosphere they want to play in front of. Monday is a massive calling card for Newcastle to attract players.

  • 31 Hammy // May 1, 2008 at 3:41 PM

Hopefully Keegan has more sense to come out and say who he wants…….
if he does it just alerts other clubs to players’ availability hence pushing up the asking price and contractual demands. These days there are plenty clubs with Billionaire owners and money to spend so we need to be as stealthy as possible to snap up the top players. The Modric deal was leaked by the Croatians who no doubt wanted the best price possible for their starlet, expect other cash strapped clubs to adopt a similar approach when the Toon comes a knocking.

  • 32 toonbarmy // May 1, 2008 at 3:54 PM

Eren Derdiyok would be good for the future.
    We don’t need Deco.
We need somebody younger like Jérémy Menez.

  • 33 Marty // May 1, 2008 at 4:40 PM

I reckon go all out n buy STEVIE GERRARD lol,now thats the type of quality that we need in reality to challenge for honours.Other than that type of quality we are just wastin our cash…….

  • 34 Marty // May 1, 2008 at 4:43 PM

Don`t reckon we wil get much outa the game on monday but hope we put in a good display.
Chelski lookin strong and do we really want MANURE to win the title race????

  • 35 Faustino // May 1, 2008 at 4:54 PM

Do you really want Chelski to win the league?

The more I look at that photo of Derdiyok the more I love it. That is four rather terrified looking defenders there.

  • 36 staffsmag // May 1, 2008 at 4:58 PM

Marty – personally I would rather see Manure win the title with a mostly home grown / nurtured team rather than the cockney tossers with their billionaire owner buying anyone they think is half decent. Plus i would hate seeing that smug cheating git Drogba with a Premier League winners medal round his cheating neck !!!

  • 37 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 5:00 PM

I want Chelsea to win the league and the champions league. I think they will win the champions league but not the league though.

  • 38 Gooderz // May 1, 2008 at 5:02 PM

I’ve got to say I love the way are prospective strikeforce could look in a few years time where a 6 foot bloke could be considered short alongside Carroll, Zamblera and the likes of Gomis or Derdiyok. All big and powerful, and if we get a good mix of pace and skill then defenders will be quaking in their boots, particularly once we’re back in Europe as those defenders can be on the short side.

  • 39 eastendtoon // May 1, 2008 at 5:08 PM

found a piece on gomis, suggesting we’ve made an initial offer of 14mil.

personally, i’d get this guy and the swiss lad in and get rid of viduka

    check

  • 40 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 5:19 PM

14 mil is a rip off for Gomis from what i have seen. 8 mil tops.

    Jeremy Menez!
    Jeremy Menez!
    Jeremy Menez!

    Jeremy Menez!
    Jeremy Menez!

He is exactly the type of player we need. Somebody contact Keegan now.
    Look at him on youtube

  • 42 Toonsolja (in london :( ) // May 1, 2008 at 5:27 PM

This guy’s stats look great, especially for a 19 year old. but deco is a big no, end of story, his old bad atitude and looks like a player who just wants his pay check at the end of the week, we dont want are youngsters learning from him. if i could have a realistic transfer wish list then my list would be
    juaquin
    arshavin
    van der vaart
    dunne
    cuellar
    pandev
thats only if kk decided to turn to 4-4-2 in which case arshavin and juaquin would be on the wings, just the thought makes me excited.

however if he wants to carry on with 4-3-3 then these players would be great:
    pandev
    dunne
    van der vaart
    muvamba cuellar
but thats just me if i could have any two of those i would have van der vaart and pandev those two would be imence.

  • 43 toonbully // May 1, 2008 at 5:29 PM

    Tom Toon ,
Yes but newcastle NEVER pay over the top for players , I mean owen , boumsong , goma , all worthy of their price …NOT …so we continue to over bid ….

    zenit 3-0 bayern (4-1 agg)

  • 53 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 6:52 PM

Litmanen? Perma-crock! Hes 36 or 37. Absolutely amazing player in his prime.

  • 54 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 7:00 PM

4-0 zenit have got a few class players

  • 55 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 7:04 PM

pogrebnyak, up top for zenit looks good, big and strong, good in the air and good on the deck

  • 56 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 7:08 PM

    4 – 0 now…

  • 57 autibo // May 1, 2008 at 7:09 PM

4-0 Zenit strolling. I’m finding this game very interesting for two reasons:

1 – Zenit have some excellent, powerful, technically-gifted and hungry players who we could no doubt attract over here. In particular i think Pogrebnyak the striker looks like a great player and he’s now the top scorer in the uefa cup this season. Tymoschuk also looks like a quality uncomplicated defensive player. Anyukov has looked good down the right too. They have some very, very good players who would be desperate to be given a chance in England and they look like they would die for their club.

2 – Bayern look like a side in decline. Could we possibly nick a few big names from them – Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Podolski…

Good luck Zenit, I really fancy them to win this cup now…

  • 58 Dom4Toon // May 1, 2008 at 7:10 PM

some of the players on that list are rediculous lol

  • 59 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 7:11 PM

    17.Jari Litmanem
    18.Gary Speed
    19.George Boateng
    20.Amdy Faye

why? And Lahm is already off to Barca isn’t he?

  • 60 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 7:14 PM

Riordan, Riise, Barnes, King, Davenport, Kuyt, Pato, van der Vaart, Utaka, Kazim Richards, Ben Haim, Sidwell – All either crap or unrealistic.

    Think before you speak!

  • 61 jeff // May 1, 2008 at 7:14 PM

I would pick cuellar mcgeady and arshavin from the list

    good research robertsa

  • 62 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 7:15 PM

Didn’t even see Pato. Why would a rising star of the Brazilian national team leave AC Milan to come to Newcastle?

    Amdy Faye

keegan said most signings will be from the spl

  • 77 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 7:40 PM

and who would you have tom toon ?? you seem to know allot.

  • 78 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 7:42 PM

Funny, i dont remeber him saying that. + why would be buy a championship player at best (Riordan) or a player who has already flopped at us (Amdy Faye).

King is a good defender but a perma-crock. Bruno Alves would be my defender of choice.

  • 79 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 7:43 PM

Montolivo rather put a packet of pork scratchings on the pitch.

  • 80 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 7:44 PM

and what are the chance of bruno alves coming

  • 81 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 7:46 PM

Ok, say that when you watch his tonight.

When i say a coke can i was refering to King injury record, he would never get on the pitch.

Bruno Alves would probably come if we offered, although other clubs want him too.

To buy Ledley King you have got to be on drugs at the time.

  • 82 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 7:46 PM

actually riordans former strike partener o’conor plays for birmingham and rioirdan is twice as good as him

  • 90 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 7:57 PM

  • 91 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 7:58 PM

  • 92 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:00 PM

well take it as this we sell ameobi for 5 mill we get rid of his wage bill and in comes riordan for nought so we get someone better than ameobi and 5 mill still to spend

  • 93 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 8:01 PM

Err we can get Klasnic for free. Probably on less wages than Riordan and 10000000000% better.

  • 94 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:03 PM

    you could get them both

  • 95 Football Betting King // May 1, 2008 at 8:04 PM

‘Why is it we’re competing with the likes of AV, Pompey etc for players?’ Some people are asking.

Well isn’t it obvious? That’s what level we’re at. Oh, except they might be in Europe, whereas we’re not.

Okay so maybe we do have more money than them; who cares!

I’ll laugh all my way through the summer silly season, as we’re linked with Deco, Ronaldinho, Pele, Zidane and whoever else. We won’t buy them though, and the sooner some of our fans come back down to earth the better.

  • 96 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:05 PM

yes, but mine is plausible, while your suggestion is a player who is injured 95% of the time. No manager in their right mind would buy King.

  • 105 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:19 PM

thats all thats needed to be said but jaunde ramos said he is getting rid of king and really he aint bad micheal owen was never ingured untill he came to the toon maybe the opposite could happen with king

  • 106 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 8:20 PM

No way. King is constantly injured, Michael Owen had a coule of injuries compared to perma-crock King.

  • 107 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:22 PM

plus you got to remember keegan said he wants 5 players cuellar arshavin mcgeady derdiyok and who else i think it will be a centre midfield
Nolan or bullard would do me fine.

  • 108 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 8:24 PM

We wont sign Derdiyok. 100% sure of that. I doubt we will sign Arshavin either, i do want him though.

  • 109 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:26 PM

everton are in for arshavin aswell like

  • 110 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 8:28 PM

We have more money than Everton though, we could just outbid them.

  • 111 Oba // May 1, 2008 at 8:31 PM

Robertsa, why don’t we just sign Bramble again, and Boumsong? Maybe could bring Luque back, and that chap Rozehnal.

  • 112 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 8:32 PM

Yes but we havent been linked to Arshavin since KK came back. Im not sure if hes on his hitlist.
Everton wont be able to afford his wages.

  • 113 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:33 PM

mcgedy will come to us or sunderland for 10million
cuellar wants trophies so he could stay at rangers
    arshavin will go to everton
    derdiyok never heared of him

id rather have davies, demichelis, makalele nd modric im still gutted we didnt get that modric like

  • 114 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:34 PM

nd the other day i read that andy johnsen could come to the toon but he aint as good since he left crystal palace

  • 115 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:39 PM

    oba because they are shit

  • 116 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 8:39 PM

We have no need for Johnson, he’s an older and imo less talented Martins.

  • 117 sebum gunter the primeape hunter // May 1, 2008 at 8:41 PM

i vud sign obi mikel, bramble bechos he is better at wigan and kevin phillips

  • 122 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:46 PM

we could swap smith for cuellar

  • 123 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 8:48 PM

Yes, when Smith has already said he doesn’t want to go to Rangers. Well done.

  • 124 sebum gunter the primeape hunter // May 1, 2008 at 8:49 PM

oh that was a foul on that wideo by johnsen he pushed bramble over he reeely is wery good though

  • 125 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:51 PM

aye but hell get bored of the bench

  • 126 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:53 PM

cuellar costs 5 million and we are getting 5 million for ameobi

  • 130 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 8:58 PM

  • 131 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:00 PM

this spaz just came on nd was like nibble me ball sak the tramp

  • 132 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 9:00 PM

How has he been Careless Cuellar in the last few games. What game was that?

  • 133 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:03 PM

he got sent of not long ago and scored an own goal in the old firm derby

  • 134 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 9:04 PM

But straight after that (recently) he has been playing well. What u mentioned was a while ago now.

  • 135 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:05 PM

oh sos i aint been watching spl mutch

  • 136 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 9:06 PM

  • 137 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:06 PM

me mate is a rangers fan and he says cuellar doesnt track back well

  • 138 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:08 PM

neither does beye taylor cacapa enrique rozenhal so maybe we should partener him with someone fast if we get him

  • 139 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 9:08 PM

Dunno, but he is doing bloody good in europe against some of europes best.

  • 140 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:11 PM

true but there is sumik about taylor which i dont feel safe with

  • 141 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 9:13 PM

Yep, Taylor is pretty good except his positioning is awful.

  • 142 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:14 PM

i think taylor needs another year untill we can rely on him like so deco would be perfect to stand in for one year alongside cuellar untill taylor is ready

  • 143 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 9:14 PM

he is a defender and doesnt have to track back, as he will already be there, robertsa, ur comments are boring me to death

  • 144 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:15 PM

eventually we are agreeing on sumik tom toon lol great minds think alike lol

  • 145 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:17 PM

oh i Geordie Gerrard7 thats what we said about boumsong everyone getsd caught on the break

  • 146 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:21 PM

Geordie Gerrard7 unless you expect cuellar to come in and newcastle to be perfect at the offside trap

  • 147 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 9:21 PM

Montolivo has looked alright tonight, not a bad dribbler at all.

  • 148 sebum gunter the primeape hunter // May 1, 2008 at 9:24 PM

hahahahha some people are still on this well guys just get kevin phillips he is much better than owen martins and viduka put together and bramble is class

  • 149 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 9:26 PM

Phillips had one good season and then went back to mediocrity.

  • 150 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 9:26 PM

Hamas, hes not even being played to his strengths today, hes normally a playmaker.

  • 151 sebum gunter the primeape hunter // May 1, 2008 at 9:29 PM

was i talking to you hamarse yes i was so lik me bum cheeks phillips is a legend

  • 152 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 9:29 PM

montolivo is a good player, does anyone else but me think kuzmanovic is class?

  • 153 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 9:30 PM

Yep, however i think Montolivo is better, id welcome both with open arms though. Kuzmanovic isnt as good a passer as Montolivo and a passer is what we need.

  • 154 sebum gunter the primeape hunter // May 1, 2008 at 9:32 PM

howay rodentsa say sumik i wana take the piss

  • 158 sebum gunter the primeape hunter // May 1, 2008 at 9:35 PM

hahahahahhahaha you nobend is that the best you got… ohh now silly little man is a different levell … gerrard and rodentsa are tits and tom toon is gay

  • 159 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 9:36 PM

how old are you u makem prick?

  • 160 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 9:37 PM

I suppose for a little club like Sunderland, phillips would be a legend. 8 caps 0 goals is all I’ll say.

  • 161 Soren // May 1, 2008 at 9:38 PM

I’ve heard who Keegan wants to sign….

Yer, he looks like tinky winky :)

  • 175 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 9:55 PM

bad shot, if we had montolivo, we should use him in a carrick-esque kind of way with his passing, he is a luxury player

  • 176 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 9:55 PM

    lol

  • 177 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:56 PM

toons best signing will be mcgeady

  • 178 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 9:58 PM

that would be good actually cos we cant pick out owen martins and viduka a passer like carrick is what we need

  • 179 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 9:58 PM

    we should deffo get cueller

  • 180 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 10:00 PM

Nah, use Montolivo behind the front 2, his shooting is normally very good.

Prandelli could also look like Barney the Dinosaur :)

  • 181 robertsa // May 1, 2008 at 10:00 PM

    id still have arshavin though

  • 182 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 10:01 PM

    cousin- what a dick

  • 183 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 10:02 PM

or he even could look like a rampant rabbit

  • 184 Tom_Toon // May 1, 2008 at 10:02 PM

oooooooh PK’S, bit of a smash and grab if rangers win this one

  • 188 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 10:20 PM

Fiorentina deserve to go through but I still want Rangers to win it in the end.

  • 189 Geordie Gerrard7 // May 1, 2008 at 10:24 PM

i dont believe it, we could of won this uefa cup this year.

  • 190 Hamas (51times) // May 1, 2008 at 10:24 PM

Haha they’ve done it, say what you want about the style of football, it’s got results.

  • 191 Oba // May 1, 2008 at 11:23 PM

Cuellar could quite easily turn out to be shite, like Boumsong did. He looked good at Rangers.

As for McGeady, he’s the same, but an attacker instead. One trick pony as well.

  • 192 Newcastle United. // May 2, 2008 at 12:12 AM

    Would love joaquin.

    Harper

    Beye Dunne Metzelder Enrique

Joaquin Butt Van Der Vaart Milner

    Owen Martins/Ashton.

    Tasty

  • 193 Simon // May 2, 2008 at 12:34 AM

    GARRY SPEED!

  • 194 toonsolja // May 2, 2008 at 8:32 AM

ok tom_toon i admit vdv isnt to realistic, however if u dont ask u dont get.
and if some of us want to dream ,then let us

  • 195 ToonIndonesia // May 2, 2008 at 8:35 AM

    montolivo and kuzmanovic is class…
but they’re going to play in champions league next season with fiorentina… i think they’ll stay…

if you ever saw another fiorentina youngster
    N’Diaye Papa Waigo (20/01/1984), Senegal, (185 cm / 70 Kg)
imho, he’ll be a new batistuta in fiorentina!
we should find this kind of talent…

i’d rather have p.l proven players… bentley, gilberto, flamini or gamst pedersen.

our great stikers need creativity and great assist which they can only get from emre at the moment…
    (remember nobby)

    so, playmaker and winger please…

  • 196 Hamas (51times) // May 2, 2008 at 8:48 AM

Bentley and Flamini wouldn’t come. Flamini is already a Milan player more or less. Pedersen would be worth it I think.

  • 197 ToonIndonesia // May 2, 2008 at 9:14 AM

all we need is ginola kind of player…

who’s the closest type right now?
CR7, bentley, david silva , joaquin (valencia), downing?

  • 198 Hamas (51times) // May 2, 2008 at 10:31 AM

I think we could get Joaquin with Valencia being in the trouble they’re in. I think KK could get him back to his Betis days.
