KEVIN Keegan makes the expected one change to the team that drew at West Ham last weekend with Abdoulaye Faye returning from injury to replace David Edgar.

The Senegal star will partner Steven Taylor in the heart of the United defense with Habib Beye and Jose Enrique completing the back four.

Steve Harper makes his 100th start in goal for Newcastle and Nicky Butt starts despite being one booking away from a three-game ban.

Charles N’Zogbia and Claudio Cacapa also make the bench for the first time in a while.

Chelsea’s Frank Lampard will surprisingly start on the bench, with Frenchman Malouda and John Mikel Obi both starting the game.

Anelka also get a start for the Blues whose bench is packed full of top players.

we might not be able to sing any good players cause when we offered modric and woodgate we paid a lot more than tottenham

so the idea is to out price them at club level. so that the club will reject other’s offer!

well that’s the cost of not playing in europe i guess.

Very attacking bench there for chelsea with only Alex as a defensive player, well and obviously Cudicini! Maybe grant is loading the bench like that cause he is expecting a fight from the TOON!

he is gonna get a fight from NUFC and the TOON ARMY!

Would like to have seen Carroll instead of Smith on bench. Also am pleased to see Capaca back as I don’t think we have seen the best of him yet, he has only really played in the negative Sam teams.

Good 1st half, defence looks good and solid….!!!!

Duke looks slower than usual and Geremi keeps passing to the blues.

We have to keep Oba, more than any other player imo.

Its life that some players are loved by the manager even though a 10 year old kid can see they are rubbish and doing nothing for the team. We played with ten men today as Geremi was a disgrace. We should have had Carroll on the bench not Smith. I’ve constantly had a go at Taylor this season and dont rate him but I thought he played very well today.
