Bringing the wage bill down decreases the quality of player you bring in which in return excludes the chance of really winning a trophy yet Ashley wants wages reduced. NOT GOOD AT ALL. Somebody should of told him in this game money is the name of the game and i'm sorry to say if Ashley was at NUFC 3 years ago then we would of had no chance of signing Owen. What chance do we have of signing the likes of VELOSO,ARSHIVAN,RDV, if he wont pay the wages. We have no CL, no europe,no chance of winning the league AND being in the North East which players seem to avoid at all costs AND wages reduced. I think it looks gloomy to me and IF we are lucky we will be a mediocre PL club.
