All that Owen has ever said (as far as I can see) is that he wants to play for and sign for the Toon. So untill something to the contrary happens I will take him at his word and not the the fairy tales from the tabloids.

As for todays game I am with Steeley, if Smith starts and has a crap game (probable) then KK can see what sort of player he is. A quick sub for Carroll then we may start to see the future.

I really want Owen to stay but why would he when KK almost said you won’t play CL again and the chairman wants to cut his wage up to 40%! (If that’s true)

I’m sure around 60-70k, most top half teams with european place, even big 4 would want him and he knows it.

Have emailed the NOTW and asked which of their reporters sat in on the KK meeting with Ashley. Also asked for the substantive evidence for their other speculations in their rag today. Odds on me getting an answer? Derby have got more chance of not being relegated. If the Owen speculation does turn out to be based on some facts – then I think 7 million to compensate for disloyalty would be acceptable. OK Owen – lets have an answer from you.

I live in London but am TOOON thru and thru , However I see the swaggers and the prawn sandwich brigade at Chelski , and they think they own the league cos they have bought everyone .
However my geordie bloggers these guys are pettrified of going to moscow to watch their own team because they think its not safe there , They will be watching it in their Kings road flats swigging Lauren Perrier and Bolly .
If TOON were there we be fighting russians in the street to get a ticket , SO who do you want to win , personally I don’t want to see a double by either , MANU will not get beat by Wigan so they should win the premier and i suppose alth it pains me I would like Chelski to trounce Fergies boys 5-0 in Moscow , and those prawn eater can think wish I was there …its yer own cockney yellow livered faults man…
