Question is, is it true the club is about to impose an eighty thousand a week cap, if so that signifies a considerable reduction in wages for MO.
Question two, would he find a club who would pay him what he is now receiving at Utd. or even eighty thousand for that matter?
Face it he is not the hot property he was five years ago, with a lot of mileage and injury time.
Be interesting to see who blinks first?

Brilliant read by the everton fan. Everytime i have a discussion on here the newcastle fans always say how they fill out the stadium every week. Well the recent reports published on who has the best attendances has spurs in 3rd ahead of newcastle in 6th. Just thought i would mention it. As for london being a shit hole. Why do you think all the top players want to go there. It is only the geordies living there goldfish bowl

A few mates of mine went on a trip to London (graphic design students) on St. Georges Day.

They went to a pub in the early evening and were promptly told to leave after being told “It’s St. Georges Day, we don’t want any foreigners in our bar”

When they said they were from Newcastle and therefore England his reply was “If you’re not from London, you’re not from England”

I hate London and will only go there for business.

Even then, I will be putting forward my point of hatred towards the scum.

he will stay i think, i dont think he wants to leave. he gets top money, his kids are in school and happy as is his mssus. he is captain and he lieks keegan. i see no reason for him to leave. you dont need to play for the top clubs to be regarded as the best. shearer stayed with us and is the benchmark. luis saha is with manure but who cares.see my point. he’ll stay as long as the board arn’t going to be dicks when it comes to sorting out his new deal….plus, if he goes, for sure keegan will be arsed off mega. japan – get real ffs. everton – why, they did it this year but next year could be distinctly average, there would be no point in going.

Reb, I am simply pointing out Kitson and his number of goals compared to owen this season and the cost to our club compared to the cost of Kitson to his, it makes you wonder how many goals Kitson could score in a better team, I remember when Andy Johnson was at QPR and no-one wanted him, we could have signed him or Anelka or both and we didnt, the next season he was one of the premierships top scorers, this year he is one goal behind Owen with a really bad injury season and owen has had almost an injury free season. Owen is good, we want him, but putting it bluntly he isnt the superstar he was.

Owen has a good history, but who wants to pay for history except a museum??
He needs to speak up over the next couple of weeks, he is the captain after all not just a player he should set an example even if it is to say that he play out his contract if they dont agree a deal.
