To be honest I fully understand the way our club is now being run, I appreciate MA and all he has done so far ,

BUT i thought the guy had massive ambition,

I believed in what I had read that MA was going to make a signing that would rock the EPL,

After all that has been before though I am still keeping the faith, A billionaire who wants to stand with us and ultimatley listen to us, cannot be a bad thing.

Its now his time for him to write himself into toon history…

Michael, comment 17, is absolutely spot on. fans who are whinging about ashley being stingy have had abit too much of the juice or have been indoctrinated by old alan oliver twoddle.

ashely and mort have turned a practically sunk ship into a sustainable business and no one should ever forget that, ever!

shepherd was a money grabbing leech and the day he left was the brightest in nufc history so far this century!

The zog knows now that spurs are’nt coming for him – he’s labelled as dodgy goods what with the texting in the dressing room under roeder, and the scrap at everton that “did’nt happen”.
To be fair, if you were a 17 year old whisked away from your own country and then have had a modicum of success your head would probably be turned. Look at Glenn Johnson – same trouble and now he’s grown up a bit and been told a few home truths he’s developing into a very very good pro. Stick with charlie boy and hope his balls drop soon.

Of course were getting more tv earnings than spurs and the hammers, even this year when we were mostly poor it was still better than watching there shite! when you talk about people around the world watching the pl too, and i’ve been to my share of places, beside the top 4(of course) there’s no team that’s more popular than newcastle, i’ve met toon fans in malaysia, india, malawi, south africa, poland and china and no they weren’t geordies on a bit of rnr?

i’ve never met a spurs fan anywhere?

How the hell did they work that out, we’ve sold out all season and we’ve got a bigger ground than Everton and Spurs… figure that one out.

We should be in 3rd place in those stat’s, below Man Utd and Arsenal but thats it right now.

I think everyone missed a lot of the point about our debt. It was’nt just made up of ton’s of debt due to transfers in the past, if you remember that the original cost of upgrading the stadium to how it stands to today was quoted by the club itself at Â£40 Million.. so either way yes we’ve spent big on players these last few years but half that debt includes the cost of the stadium improvements.

man u get 10 million more than us and it’s the rest of us who need all the help we can get. man u can buy a 10 million player and still be on an even keel with us. it should be split equally regardless. little things like that might make the league a little more evenly matched.

Leo, Tarzon was also Lord Greystoke in the books and films.

The jaw muscles must have gone into a spasm, a similar thing happens with back muscles which is where a lot of back pain comes from. It is actually a body defensive reflex to protect vunerable parts. It’s amazing the number of people who come to me bent over with pain and are able to walk away much relieved, not really magic although it probably feels like it.

You must be really paranoid about Doctors to put with what you have described.

I agree with a lot of the comments made today talking about restraint.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Until we start bringing in the trophies (and hence vastly increased revenue through Europe and TV contracts) we cannot compete financially with the current top 4.

Ashley and Mort have adopted exactly the right approach. First they have come in and started cutting unnecessary expenditure. They have also invested wisely in a committed youth structure that will soon start to show its benefits in the first team. Finally they ARE financing Keegan when the best players become available (Woodgate & Modric).

Unfortunately neither Modric or Woodgate thought it was the best move for them. We know that in both cases that the reason was not financial.

But the policies in place bode well for the future, long term.

Keep the faith lads. MA will get his wallet out when the time comes.
