We seem to be taking on backroom staff all the time but no players!!

Yes Taylor will be good but whats MA doing moaning about players wages and taking on more non-playing staff.

Over-load the club with overpaid executives like (Ernie) Wise on “1.5 million a year who can’t even get Owen to sign a new contract let alone attract top class Modric types.

Prove me wrong, pull your fingers out and get some good and classy players in …… plz

Taylor is a good coach, i wouldnt also mind seeing us getting in a foriegn coach some one to help Keegan bring out the skills in ome of our more talented players….not sure as to who could do that mind??????

If this is true what wonderful news. He had a great record with the under 21’s, and with all the young talent that we are trying to attract and bring though the ranks this is an extremely positive step forward for Newcastle. The future’s bright, the furtures BLACK & WHITE!

Pros:
4 promotions with 3 Clubs is a very good record

He is great at helping young talent which is benificial to us with our young player policy

Lost just 2 games as Under 21 boss in 6 years in an impressive record also

Loves James Milner and Steven Taylor, Would work wonders with their natural talents as well as Zog if he decides to stay (Unlikely)

im a toon fan all the way but i work in hull and i know about the team, he took them to promotion twice in consecutive years, now they’re on their way to top flight and i’ll be able to watch the toon army smash the tigers and earn bragging rights at work! But how can you say he’s an utterly rubbish manager???

I say get him on board!!!

There’s no doubting that he is a quality coach, and his experience with the England U21 side will help the young lads already at the club and those that will be added over the coming months.

This is excellent news. Taylor is a brilliant coach. However he always seems to be lacking in self belief. He could have been a top manager if he realised how good he actually is.
He would be an excellent addition to the club.

Like Glenn Roeder he seems to be a coach that’s very respected by the players that have been in his charge.

With our youth set up being the new focus I think he would be an ideal addition to the backroom staff.
