Seems like he wants to go to a big club in either italy or england, with european qualification, so i doubt newcastle is even on his list of desired clubs. If he wouldn’t play for Villarreal or Atletico M. (who are both qualified for Champions Cup) then why would he want to come to us?

Why would Chelsea want Deco when they ovbiously have better ones? Anyway, I don’t think any of the big four will want a Barca reject who is well over 30.

The guy spends more time in bars than on the pitch,we have to stop giving these type of players on e last pay day.He was one of the best and no doubt will from time to time show what he is capable of but its far to big og a gamble.We need to bring in some team players who are hungry,KK has a huge job on his hands

Deco wouldn’t come and not sure he’s right. Gudjohnsen could be excellent – if he’s still got the pace and strength he used to have. Anyone seen how he looks when he does get on these days?

besides, we should look to our own team first and see what can be done in terms of putting players into their correct roles. put zogs in alongside barton, get SWP on the right and milner on the left. with duff back up as milner can switch to either right or left. Get in crouch or gudjohnson as i see that pompy are playing down the crouch rumor. try to get a top draw centre half too as talor is not the complete deal as of yet and is still mistake prone.
i see that spurs are maybe going for eto’o ffs. they are spending massive, its going to backfire if they dont get a champ leage spot thats for sure. plus spurs are looking at dunne too. what is it with our tartgets and spurs??

What worries me more, is that in failing to sign all our targets over the summer, the pressure to sign SOMEONE, will result in Mort doing a shepherd and signing a big name to appease the fans. This would be a huge mistake yet again. I would rather gamble on younger players, with or without epl experience. At least you can recoup some cash if it all goes wrong.
Just hope the Team stick to whatever plan they have got and hold their nerves, and if necessary splash the cash to get the RIGHT players.
