Newcastle Interested in Inter-Milan Striker

The local Sunday Sun newspaper has mentioned quite a few players today, that Newcastle are said to be interested in.

David Suazo – 28 year-old Inter-Milan striker

One of those players is 28 year-old striker David Suazo of Inter-Milan and Honduras.

Suazo played for Caglieri from 1999 until last year, when he joined Inter for 10M euro, which is about £7.9M.

He played a total of 255 times for Caglieri,  and scored 95 goals for them.

Last season he played 27 times for Inter-Milan, and scored 8 goals for the Milan giants. and he has represented his country Honduras 38 times, and scored 14 goals.

Of course, Jose Mourinho will be his new manager at Inter.

David was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras in November, 1979 and stands just short of 6 ft. tall.

We’re not sure what the fee would be for the player, but he’s another one to add to the every growing list of players Newcastle are reported to be interested in this summer.

David is a good player, but the transfer fee may be high, for somebody who has never played in the Premier league.

Comments welcome.

Very good player, not too different to Martins. Sell Owen and play Suazo and Martins with Aimar in the hole. Ashavin we can forget now…

remember we were linked with Mbark Bousaffa quite heavily towards the end of last season? That seems to have gone very quiet and the press have left the story alone. Probably as most footy hacks have Euro2008 tunnel vision at the moment and Bousaffa is Morrocon. The kid plays left wing for Anderlecht and 2 of my work collegues who support Anderlecht tell me he’s expected to move to the Premier league but nobody knows where. But I’ve not seen any other Prem club linked with him other than us so it’s one to watch out for…check out his video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vH7hDHvNihk

I reckon Arda is not keegans man, he’s a smoke screen because Keegan wants pace and Arda dont have it.

yeah but he might have signed a new contract because he had a release clause in so they renewed it to make sure they got what they want and he might have said that shit to keep the fans off his back.

I still think there could be a chance there like

Bastian Schwienstieger has he would be interested in a move to the Premier League. He is in his last year of the contract he has at Bayern. If we could get him he is a quality player and fits in with Mike Ashley’s penny pinching since he would be a free agent. I know Suazo’s cousin (I’m being serious), so i’ll ask him about this when i next see him.

Suazo’s is a quality player, fast, skillful and he scores. Therefore I think Mourinho will want to keep him.

Scottish mag- I don’t see why not.

Obafme1- I thought that Suazo was on a shortlist of players that Jose wanted to get rid of
