Not worth debating the ethics of keeping or selling Joey Barton, but since when did ethics come into it? We knew he was a chav when we signed him but he’s not taking Ashley’s daughter out so that’s all in the past.
Weigh the moralising and naysaying of hypocritical rags like the Mail and the Sun against Mike Ashley’s 5.5million hard-earned and I think I can guess which side he’ll come down on.

The chavs in Liverpool had nothing to do with Barton putting a cigar out in a 15 year old’s face.
Just deal with the fact that Barton is a pathological social misfit and stop giving him endless 2nd chances. I can’t see that Barton would bring any harmony to the dressing room whatsoever and it’s an open secret players have already refused to join NUFC because of Barton.
Allardyce’s arrogance backfired spectacularly but I don’t seem him offering to pay Joey Â£60K a week, hence the now feigned suicide concern in an attempt to cover his own arse. I would rather save 12m in more wages and accept our losses. We are a national disgrace if we don’t do the right thing and kick barton out right now. the delay is already embarrassing and damaging.

1. Barton was defo not our best midfielder in the last couple of games last year.
2. How many chances has he already had in the past???
3. A â€˜normalâ€™ employee would be sacked the first hour after the fight in Liverpool. So why should NUFC not do that.
4. Having him in our team will scare players to come to NUFC. Iâ€™m sure of that. Who wants to be involved in a fight; like the Dabo thing.
5. He is a disgrease to NUFC; the clubâ€™s reputation is going to be damaged if we keep him.

Conclusion: Sack that dangerous guy!

I reckon the reaction Barton gets from the fans will be mixed.

The charvers will get behind Barton because they think it’s normal to get mortal on a weekend and then kick seven shades out of someone.

All the rest of the decent fans will not support him but most will probably be too scared to boo him for fear of getting seven shades kicked out of them by the 3 charvers sat behind them.

i dont go to many games but if i did i would not boo for many reasons 1 is the exact same reason as the kaiser said if you had some little chavs callin you allsorts you wouldnt take too kindly to it now would you the 2 is kk is backing him this means we should back kk which in turn means backing barton the 3rd is he could actually turn in to a better player than previous because he may have a clear and more mature head

and off topic i am fettin seriousely irratated by andy dunn off the news of the world every chance he gets he likes to call us dillusional and any other thing he can think off which wouldnt be soo bad if he actually done some research and found this out for himself but he just goes along with a sterio type which is doing my tits int o be honest

I dont know much about the Dabo thing (alough Dabo seems a bit of a tool especially after what he said about us). What I do know is that after a few sherberts on a night out if a little group of charva kids started slagging off your family regarding racial murder infron tof a big group of people I’m sure the majority of u wouldn’t put your arm around the little b*st*rd and buy him a Big Mac. Fair enough Barton went over the top in his reaction but I think he’s got to be given a last chance. My reason for this being… If he does’nt understand now after everything (jail, Court etc) how close he is to losing everything he’s built in his career, he never will and I’d be happyfor him to leave. However if he can take all this on board get help and knuckle down in the same way Tony Adams or Paul Merson did when they were troubled he might get back to the form that saw him playing for England (not that I think they’d let him in the England team again) and that can only benefit us as a team. Dont listen to the Newspaper Hype they are full of shyte.

Sorry, but Frank Gilmour, whoever he is, does not represent (and never will) anyone who cost his firm 5.5million quid.
And if the firm could afford to write that off, I daresay Frank would be first in line to say ‘howsabout a wage rise, then?’
Lets get this straight:The court system is for justice and punishment, its not the clubs responsibility. The firm that is NUFC can really only wag the finger because he was boozing at 5am and he has seriously devalued himself as a club asset. We signed him knowing he had discipline and alcohol problems (a mistake in my view, but too late now) so NUFC haven’t a leg to stand on legally. And they are not going to write off 5.5 million or see some other club take Barton on a free. We are stuck with him.

Ed, RE: the new banner and Uros, I’ve been to Slovenia and have swam out to the castle in the middle of the lake and its amazing!! I would recommend it to anyone who fancies a new up and coming holiday destination for cheap. It more beautiful than Amsterdam and Prague, easily!!
