Newcastle Hartlepool Ticket Allocation Sold Out

Newcastle United have sold out of tickets for their first pre-season friendly away to Hartlepool, a week today.

The Shields Gazette is reporting this morning that fans have quickly snapped up all the away 1,000 tickets for the fixture at Victoria Park next Saturday, which has a 3:00 pm KO time.

Tickets for Newcastle’s second pre-season game against Doncaster Rovers, at the Keepmoat Stadium on July 26th, which are priced at £15 for adults and £5 for concessions, are on general sale from the Doncaster Rover’s ticket office, telephone number – 01302 762576.

United have been allocated 3,200 seats for their very first visit to the ground.

Tickets for the Mallorca Summer Cup in early August – priced at 30 Euros for the August 1st game against Hertha Berlin, and 35 Euros for the August 3rd clash with Real Mallorca – are on general sale from the the Newcastle ticket office, and the club has been allocated just 500 tickets for each fixture.

However, tickets will also be available at the 23,000-capacity ONO Estadi, and other locations around Palma, on the actual day of each fixture, should Newcastle fans be over there on holiday.

Danny Wilson
welcoming Mark Cook yesterday

Newcastle may be facing their former young goalkeeper in the Hartlepool fixture, as Hartlepool have announced the signing of former Newcastle Youth goalkeeper Mark Cook, following a successful trial with the League One club.

Cook, 19, joined Danny Wilson’s squad for the beginning of pre-season training recently, and has been impressive enough to quickly earn a contract at the club.

The goalkeeper was released from St. James’ Park after five years at the club, at the end of last season and has made the switch to join Hartlepool in League One.

Cook passed a medical yesterday morning, and will add competition for places at The Vic and will compete for the number one jersey with Jan Budtz and Arran Lee-Barrett.

Yeah its true mate it was on the official website. probably still tickets in the hartlepool end. Me and eight of the lads are going down. I went last year as well and there were lots of newcastle fans in the hartlepool end so it shouldn’t be a problem.
