I really do hope NUFC are not going to get invloved in a meat market. We must keep Krul as a future star keeper at St James Park. He will be the future Dutch international keeper I am sure. In the meantime report other clubs to UEFA if he is being tapped up!

Listen to the sense Michael is saying. If we sell a cracker like Krul then NUFC is just indulging in a meat market like other clubs. That must not be our way. Krul is the obvious replacement for both Given and Harper. A disgrace if we sell Krul. Report these tapping up clubs now. Time some of these agents and reporters were taken down an alleyway!

absolutely stupid to sell him…loan him out 2 years, he can challenge our first team

even if he really wants to leave, we still need to make sure we have our first option and buy-back clause in the deal

what’s the point of signing youngsters (while he is the best one so far) if we arnt going to keep them or even give them away with the price like 2M

from memory he was signed on a five year deal and I believe theres still three + years left on that…therefore there is no need to sell, especially below market value…strange that yet again the big club involved here is top four Chelsea this time…I think the top four have decided that seen as EUFA decided that they were not going to do anything about Real tapping up Ronaldo then they would start tapping up anyone they fancied…so any youth they want are fair game… good on Spurs for deciding enough was enough….pity we havent had the guts to do the same…Villa for milner for instance…bout time we either sold these players or said to everyone sod off our players aint for sale…notice none of them have actually put bids in its tapping up… and EUFA need to stop it now…

Exactly 52 SwedeEric ,

He’s a top young keeper by all accounts.

However, its very difficult for the club to keep hold of him, if he’s determined to make a move to a club that can offer him first team football.

The young lad’s very ambitious & talented, so he’s obviously keen to move on & gain experience.

IF Keegan carnt promise him at least the bench, its going to be very difficult to pursuade him to stay.

One would think that the obvious answer would be to loan him out to a decent club where he feels he can develop further. Maybe an extended loan deal.

If not, then the club has to make sure we benifit from his sale.

2 mllion, with some extra add on’s, if the lad plays for his country etc. That way, if he does fulfill his potential, we are financially compensated?
