After having ploughed approx 1/8 his reported fortune into the club so far. More signings will come I hope and if we do as well as we seem to have done with Gutierrez and Guthrie I'll be happy. First of all we need players who want to play for us not mercs like Arshavin, Aimar and all the rest that are on the move. Second we need players who have a lot to offer over a number of years. We are screwed by previous managers splashing out on stupid wages for bit part players such as Geremi, Smith and to a certain extent Micheal Owen (due to the amount of time injured) Lets get us in a good postion with a few more quite signings and go about our league assault in the same way and hey we never know what might happen. Running the place as a business all the way! The main reason no players have been brought in recently is because is because tightly locked cheque book! Any club with any sense would sign michael on for at least another two seasons or at least for the rest of time that KK is there at the helm! Get rid of Smith, play Barton and buy in Moutinho and Diego, maybe even show some sly interest in Arshavin, overpriced, but if he can get us that top sixth place, well worth it i say!
