Coloccini A Good Signing – Gutierrez

One of our new signings this summer, Jonas Gutierrez, thinks fellow Argentine International Coloccini will be a very good signing for Newcastle United – if we ever get the lad to sign on the dotted line.   😀

Jonas Gutierrez – Coloccini will be very good signing for us
The Argentine winger told the Evening Chronicle today:

“I have played with him for Argentina and against him when I was at Real Mallorca and he played for Depor.”

“He is respected in Argentina and in La Liga.” “He’s a very good player and now it’s good that he is to become a Newcastle player.”

“I will be happy to be on his side now and not playing against him as he is one of the toughest opponents I have faced.”

“Fabricio will be a very good signing for us, very good indeed.”

Gutierrez has made three appearances for Newcastle since he signed on July 3rd, and he’s looked good in all those games.

And the Argentine International did set up both goals for Newcastle last Saturday, in easily Newcastle best display in pre-season – and the lads really looked fit, increasing the pace of the game continually in the last 20 minutes or so – great stuff to watch.

Jonas continued:

“Valencia was a massive result for us.” “Away teams are going to feel that pressure when they come to St James’s Park this season – we will keep going forward.”

“We must stay in a good condition to do that and work hard in training.” “There are often late goals in football these days, so it is important we continue.”

We like Jonas a lot, and he talks as though he’s been at the club for some time.

But that’s indicative of him seeing the move to Newcastle United as a massive opportunity for himself, and also for the Newcastle club.

There are thousands of Newcastle fans around the world who will be willing this boy on to become a really big success at Newcastle.

Coloccini too.

Comments about video game soccer being relevant to real world soccer are almost as much fun as reading the words “wall virginity”

Move it on somewhere else, please and thank you.

    Yay, and we’re back.

I’d imagine that there are a fair few people at SJP pulling their hair out over the issues with these two players.

You’d think that with the money the club has this would be sorted by Sunday. You’d think….

Is there any reason the FA are taking so long to sort out this rubbish with Real Mallorca?

They were quick enough to butt in as soon as Barton was released from jail. Mind, I suppose they were actually fifteen months late with that little venture.

Yeah I really like Jonas, at first I thought all the hype from KK and the camp was a bit much but after his 3 freindly apperances I think he’s class my son has gone out and bought an arggie shirt with his name on it.

Even though I like the way MA is running things, I think that for the rest of this week he should have to give 100,000 GBP to a charity of our choice (such as an independent brewery in Newcastle) for every hour that there is no positive transfer news!

This CPU Ed is infuriating…god help us when the season kicks off the site will just melt.

Still quiet it’s almost 2 weeks since the “24 hr signing”Keegan mentioned…got to admit lads the communication this summer is poor/non existant/very spin/loop loop loop.

Moving on Transfers Mr Ashley…show me some big boys and let’s see us press for europe.

I’ll judge collo when I see him play a season in the premiership, not from what other argentinians say, because of his hair cut or because of how much his worth? ..we paid!

But Villa have nipped in smartly to sign reputed target Cuellar for less than we paid for 5’11” Colo. What are Wise and Jiminy-Cricket playing at missing that one? KK had already watched Carlos and seemed to like him yet ex-Celtic O’Neill is able to nab the lad by triggering his transfer fee after the huns are dumped out of Europe. Wise should have seen that coming as the big Spaniard would have been a great addition.
