One Year Loan Deal Agreed For Ignacio González?

Ignacio González, who is a Uraguay footballer at Valencia has passed a medical and reports in Spain are saying that he will go on loan to Newcastle United for a season.

Ignacio González – one year loan deal agreed with Valencia

This is breaking news in Spain and we have had the news tgranslated by some of our Spanish readers (thanks!).

His nickname is “Nacho” and he was reported to was actually given the medival in Spain by Valencia doctors and passed.

The Valencia coach Unai Emery, was quoted as saying:

“It is my decision that does not remain in the group; I accepted the signing with the condition of which right now he does not comprise of the group.”

“I have seen him play and has conditions, but right now there are sufficient players”,

We think basically he is saying they can afford to let Ignacio go for a year because they have enough players.

Ignacio plays in the same position as David Silva so is unlikely to get many games un the upcoming season, but we hope Newcastle agree a transfer price now, so they can sign the player next summer, if he does well this coming season – and that price should be fairly low, we hope.

It is not clear whether the player, who is 26, will also have to take a medical at Newcastle, but we think that is likely.

This is breaking news and reports are coming from Spain – more as we get the information.

I don’t believe a word of it. Can’t find anything about it anywhere and after watching a video of him on youtube he doesn’t look anything special.

I’ll be most disappointed if we actually sign the players we are being linked with at the moment. Would much rather have kept Milner.

Also in todays chronicle Keegan is saying the Zog will definitely not leave. So I guess he’ll be on his way then 🙁

Gonzalez debut, scores hatrick against Spuds. Ramos sacked. Owen signs new contract at half the price, mainly because he wants to play next to our start siginings Berbatov, Moutihno, Warnock, Saviola.

…oh hang on. I just woke up. Shite. That was fecking dream.

Ahh well. Three more South American loan signings and Owen up front on his own whilst contract saga rumbles on. Still, we’ll beat Spurs.

Hey lads chill! The Tiago deal was paper talk mainly from the Chron and Journal. This is something different. Valencia officials are actually quoted. Wait and see. Just seen a YouTube vid of him. Looks decent.

Remember folks, it’s only happening when nufc.co.uk say it is.

I don’t believe in this story myself, but if he’s any good, great.

How many of you lot had heard of Jonas before we signed him??

If we are signing him, as always, let’s just give the lad a chance.

Don’t like the look of this at all!

He’s 26, just signed for Valencia in the previous 24 hours and will be shipped out for us to provide him with regular football.

The way I see it, NO WAY will we buy him next summer.

    Screams of desperation!

Michael – don’t think Zog will go. Think that nne is genuine from KK. Mainly because Spuds don’t need him anymore after signing Modric (although they will need somethings after we smash them out of the Carling Cup), also Arsenal aren’t after him anymore. So that rules out the options he wanted. He’ll stay and now Milner’s gone he’ll play more, with Jonas on the right.

This looks like a bad signing, certainly seems like a bit of a panic.

Whoever said he looks good on the youtube clip is lying. All it shows is him narrowly missing long range shots, trying to beat one man too many then diving and slightly over hitting passes. If the lad was 17 he’d look decent, but he’s 26 and not very impressive. No thanks!

What a joke this club is. We’ve had months to identify targets and it still comes down to the last few days, desperately trying to replace Milner and pad our frighteningly thin squad.

If we dont have a fee agreed before signing him on loan, then doesnt look too good.

Could’nt be any happier with the draw with the spuds, theres not a team in the league i have hated more this season than them, the cheeky b$&*ards will be shown how to play when they come to st james’…

Also this player isnt half bad, ive been manager of valencia on football manager quite a few times and hes not bad, also have seen him play in some reserve games, hes a player like Jonas, who likes to run with the ball and has a fair amount of flair, need to agree a transfer fee now though else if hes dead good for us, his price could fly through the roof next season.

I may be missing something and if i am i apologise.

But could someone explain why we should sign players who are decent on a computer game?

If this is infact a true reflection on players, then i have to put the name of ‘Wario’ forward hes such a powerful player on Mario Striker!

    You heard it here first.

i to saw the You Tube clip and he looked very poor!

Granted i dont trust this media outlet when players look good and by the same token i’ll take it with a pinch of salt if the y look bad. BUt this guy looked poor.

However the 4 new players we have, i am over the moon with and have a new found trust in our recruitment team.

Most players can be made to look brilliant on youtube. Yet this guy still managed to look average.

Obviously if we do sign him I hope I’m wrong and he’s an excellent player, but I don’t think he will be.

@ Michael, and anyone else who says panic buys

There is 3 days left of tranfer window, I can see that been sed no matter who we get now so i dont think KK, Ashley, Wise etc can win. We dont sign players: “disgraceful, sack the board, tightest billionaire in the world blah blah bollocks blah” we do manage to sign a couple”: “whats the point panic by, neva heard of him, doesnt cost much must be sh*te etc etc.

The fact is we made a decent start which everyone was happy with and ppl were quite content. Now we get a ridiculous (IMO) amount of money at the cost of 2 assists and some hard graft and u wud think the world has ended.

I wish ppl would just support the team that runs out instead of predicting doom all the time. Lets be honest it wudnt be the first season we’ve played using half the academy!

    Howay the lads!
