Ignacio González, who is a Uraguay footballer at Valencia has passed a medical and reports in Spain are saying that he will go on loan to Newcastle United for a season.
Ignacio González – one year loan deal agreed with Valencia
This is breaking news in Spain and we have had the news tgranslated by some of our Spanish readers (thanks!).
His nickname is “Nacho” and he was reported to was actually given the medival in Spain by Valencia doctors and passed.
The Valencia coach Unai Emery, was quoted as saying:
“It is my decision that does not remain in the group; I accepted the signing with the condition of which right now he does not comprise of the group.”
“I have seen him play and has conditions, but right now there are sufficient players”,
We think basically he is saying they can afford to let Ignacio go for a year because they have enough players.
Ignacio plays in the same position as David Silva so is unlikely to get many games un the upcoming season, but we hope Newcastle agree a transfer price now, so they can sign the player next summer, if he does well this coming season – and that price should be fairly low, we hope.
It is not clear whether the player, who is 26, will also have to take a medical at Newcastle, but we think that is likely.
This is breaking news and reports are coming from Spain – more as we get the information.

Comment #42Havent posted on here for a while but with the transfer window closing soon i thought id better make some comments.
Firstly Milner, always gave 100% but end product was always poor.
Ignacio-just watched him on you tube, good in parts, vert similar to saviola in terms of play.Good squad addition.
Finally the need of a lb,am and striker. No way can we possibly rely upon Viduka staying fit and due to us only having Owen fit we need a suitable strike partner. The lb positon, we have been linked with heavily, zayate and atouba most recently, either would do. Now the main problem area,AM.Now i have run out of ideas for this postion, moutinho would be amazing although doubtful, arshavin is overpriced inler recently signed new contract and rosenberg offering us their player (practically) so as we all know we can speculate all we like but as kk has shown this transfer window we will all be suprised, hopefully in a good way!

Comment #45“What a joke this club is. We’ve had months to identify targets and it still comes down to the last few days, desperately trying to replace Milner and pad our frighteningly thin squad.”
Its a good job for most of you fickle poor darlings that you weren’t about watching Newcastle when we really were shite!

Comment #46Check out the vids yourself, he looks pretty good to me, and I’m sure he’s a left back, wear no 3. Which mean that along with Zayatte who is training with us we have cover/competition for RB, LB and CB! – Defense sorted.
However, wait till its officially announced before ya count ya chickens and KK still needs to decide on Zayatte but seems to be impressed with him.

Loan
Ignacio González goes to the Newcastle by a year
“Nacho” passed the medical revisación in the Valencia and will be fichado by the Spanish equipment, but it will go in loan to the club of England
SILVIA PEREZ
Ignacio González passed the medical revisación in the Valencia, but by a year it will play in the Newcastle of England.
“Nacho” was reviewed by the doctors of the Valencia in the morning of and yesterday passed without disadvantages the examinations. Nevertheless, and although not yet it had signed by the Spanish equipment, the adjustment already is decided and enlistment will go like yielded to the Newcastle.
In the eve, the valencista technician, Emery, said that he was not against to the signing of the Uruguayan whenever outside yielded another club. The trainer, explained that what its equipment needs is a centrodelantero, and that stops the position of González has to David Silva, to title undisputed, and to other four steering wheels more.
“It is my decision that does not remain in the group; I accepted the signing with the condition of which right now he does not comprise of the group. I have seen him play and has conditions, but right now there are sufficient players”, said the Basque technician.
Fernando, the vice-president of the Valencia was the one that insisted more on the hiring of “Nacho” with the argument of which he was a profitable player for the club.
_ final, and when self suppose that the enlistment go to be yield to another equipment Spanish, arrive to the news of his incorporation to the Newcastle United English.
The signing of González in the Valencia, that although not yet it had signed myself already was decided word, will take shape in the next hours and will be yielded to the English equipment. Francisco Country place not yet had managed to determine if the player had to travel to England to realise a new medical examination or if he reached with which they did to him yesterday in Valencia. There is not long time, because “Nacho” must return to Montevideo to taking next Tuesday more to be united to the works of the selection.
In the end, González left with hers and obtained one second opportunity at Europe, this time in the North of England. “Nacho”, that was in Monaco, principality located on the Mediterranean Sea, will go now to the cold of the North Sea. In that sense, it is possible to emphasize that the stage Saint James Park is suspended by snow.
The numbers
1 Year is the lapse by which Ignacio González by the Valencia to the Newcastle was yielded.
2 Parties played Newcastle this season: it equaled with Manchester United and it won to him to the Bolton.

Comment #74Well if it’s the attacking midfielder then all the people on here calling him rubbish need their heads examined. Looks decent, skilful and creative from the clips, but time will tell if he is physical enough for the Prem. Those judging him because he isnt a WOW signing must have a mental age of 11.

Comment #75Jeeeez! a) how can it be a panic signing if it’s a loan deal?
and b) so what if it wouldn’t be a “wow” signing? So called “wow” signings often don’t work out at all. I kind of hope we might go for Arshavin though, even if it would be a risk, but I won’t complain at all if we just pick up 2 or 3 more unknowns…

Comment #80Taiwantoon, just because we took a long time to sign Colo doesnt mean that every signing will take a long time. Also, centre back is not the main area we need to strengthen, what with bringing in Colo and Bassong, plus if Zayette comes in, then we have ocver for rb, cb and midfield.
