Very open comments from Sam. Ironically, he said he hopes the board builds a team around the current team cos it hasnt been done that way for a long time now. And he was the one who changed the most, getting players who only play his direct style of football.

At this point it feels like Sam is another manager ruined by NUFC actions.
I thought we had a good man manager there but he wasn’t given the time to try to get us playing great football . Ho – hum another to add to the list of ex managaers I liked. I am a bit rose tinted glasses guy when it comes to NUFC and I tend to like all people associated with us because I try to support them – but most of the time it doesn’t work out , always for different reasons. Hope the next era of NUFC really works out and we can start to enjoy our club to the MAX once again !!

Saw kinnears interview on ssn last night,fairplay to the bloke for having the balls to take the job.
But have some concerns about what he said, has Ashley not just told him to say things or filled him full of lies to calm the fans.
Kinnear told us more last night in 5 mins that Ashley has all year.He said ashley told him he would be
In charge for 6 games
The club will be sold by Oct
He is talking to 2 Consortiums
They want to bring Keegan back
Has he not just said what fans want to hear ashley gagged everyone so far so why would he let Kinnear say all this.
Until it happens dont believe a word of it…hope i am wrong.
Come Oct if we havent sold do they just say carry on joe your doing a good job and give him another 6 weeks?

shame it didnt work with alladyce,i think with time he could have achieved his goal here but unfortunatly his brand of football is cack! and watching that week in week out was the problem, but i do respect the guy….. my team for today

i thought about colo in holding role or right back but i wouldnt trsut a partnership of taylor and cacapa at center half….. i think cacapa and collo could make a good partnership….. cacapa has lost his legs but reads the game better than tayls…other than that not much else we could put out…. geremi and butt in the middle will create little but will provide protection for the defence…..we need to rely on duff and zoggy to provide good attacking play and hopefully give mo something to get on the end of…….if i remember correctly taylor played a few games as rb under souness…. with what we have tho i feel that is our best starting 11,although i can see houghton playing same team only with xisco replacing oba….what does everyone think?

f*** b****** for f*** s*** why have we fallen this far??? it should never, EVER have been allowed to fall this f****** far. it’s atrocious. ashley is a monstrosity of a man. i’m all for supporting the new manager but christ, we are screwed. we will lost 5-6 of our stars this year, not just to other teams, but through age and retirement.

i don’t care what anyone says, we are STUFFED. as per nufc.com, help nothing short of biblical proportions is going to save us. why the HELL has it fallen this far. god. i’m so depressed, it’s so sad. so many other fans driving it in to the joke that we are. arghhhhh. noooooooooooooooooooooooooo
