Let’s Give Joe Kinnear Our Full Backing

Joe Kinnear has agreed to manage the Newcastle United club until the end of October, when presumably Mike Ashley thinks the club will be sold.

Joe Kinnear – deserves our full support

Whether this is a good or bad appointment for Newcastle United is completely irrelevant, and we need to give our support to Joe Kinnear and help him as much as we can to turn things around at the club, before the rot really sets in.

It’s a very difficult job for Joe, and we applaud him for taking the job, which is short term and very difficult, but he seems ready to plunge in and do his very best.

Let’s put the club first, as fans, and let’s help Joe Kinnear turn this club around.

If fans complain about this appointment and/or don’t support Joe fully over the next 6 game sor so, it’s the club that will suffer, and as we’ve found out with recent events – the Newcastle United Club has to come first.

The club is bigger than any one personality, and that includes everybody.

It would really help to have a full house tomorrow at St. James Park against Blackburn Rovers, and let Joe know that the famous Geordie fans are right behind him.

Just think, if we can win tomorrow, Joe will immediately become a hero. That has to be our hope and intention for tomorrow.

Let’s support Joe, he’ll need all the help he can get in these 5 weeks, and he’s in this to do the very best he can for our club – we wish him all the luck in the world.

Please support him!

Absolutely right Ed, people cannot keep moaning at everything and everybody who comes in to try and help the club. The reaction on Sky sports and the internet to Joe Kinnears “interim” appointment is shameful and embarrassing.

As unimpressed as I am, I’m with you Ed. Lets get behind Joe and the lads and just hope we can nick a few points befor October is out.

There must be decent progress with the sale of NUFC for Kinnear to have been given till the end of next month.

Keep the faith boys n girls

He is only going to be here short term so I don’t really care what type of manager he is or was.

All I know is that the players need a new voice in the dressing room, someone how hasn’t been affected by the affairs going on in the club.

To find anyone to take the job for 6 weeks is amazing – especially someone with the experience of joe. People seem to be forgetting the time scale that he has taken the job for, and your right ed, we really need to get behind him and our team in times like these. If our ‘great’ fans dont than our biggest draw is inexistant.

Well the MOB created this farce – forcing out MA and forcing him to sell – an interim was the only solution left.

Well done MOB – we are all reaping what you sowed.

KK is a disgrace, The MOB a disgrace and together they have ruined the club – yet you all “love” the club dont you.

i wish aal these negative fans would piss off.in my eyes they arnt even fans.they are only happy with doom and gloom.kinnear has said the take over is round the corner with possibly shearer and keegan in the frame.give the bloke a chance man,he’s probably one of the experienced men that would be willing to take such a poisened chalice.if we get a few points we can look forward to the rest of the season with our new people and keegan.plus.if keegan is so good a man.if he knows the club is being sold why doesnt he come back now.FOR THE SAKE OF THE CLUB AND THE FANS.

Just sat here with face scrunched up!! Kinnear!?!? Where did they pluck that one from? Thought he was managing some conference side or something? Oh well hopefully he’ll pick better teams the hughton (or however you spell him) plus its only for a handful of games!! Hopefully the Nigerians will up their dealings quickly!!

Get behind Joe – fair enough he is being paid for it, no doubt he is using it as a vehicle to get back into management – but he will give it his all, and deserves our support.

Let’s not forget, no other ******s want to come to us so show Joe some respect for having the balls to take it on.

I think I hear what you’re saying Ed but surely these next 6-8 weeks are absolutely crucial to our future and ensuring we don’t anchored at the foot of the table? Therefore, whether it’s a good appointment or bad appointment – it’s totally relevant. But that shouldn’t stop us supporting him. Perhaps I’m just being pedantic? I fear we may be let down though if we expect anything less than mediocrity and Joe will walk away unscathed and much better off in his wallet. It just seems like a pointeless exercise unless Hughton didn’t want the position so badly.

what for people are unhappy about….

he had a great record with wimbledon…..

he is just here for 6 matches and that’s a very diff decision to make…..

u expect someone like zico or terim being temporary manager….

ashley wants to sell the club and new owner would want his own manager…..

atleast he is not throwing people at possible new management…..

Stardust dont go there workid saying that the Toon mob forced Ashley to do this. Did we ask for him NOT to back Keegan as he promised? Did we ask him to sack Keegan. No we did not and after he did this he went on the lash in USA so he brought it upon himself all this. People cant say he rescued us out debt. When you buy any business that has debt you reduce it any means how to maximise profit that is a simple rule in business and profit was Ashleys main goal from the start. So dont go open this big can of worms on here matey as i loyal fan turing up tomorrow backing Kinnear weather i like it or not. I for one certinaly did not ask for this.

Glad we’ve got someone in, if nothing else it gives the players some direction. Maybe i’m an optimist but why people whinge about something they can’t change and ultimately can only improve us (the only way is up) i can’t grasp. Its easy to moan, grow some…

Stardust – actually it was Ashley who started off this chain of events by publically backing the manager and promising him full control of transfer business, and then privately keeping him misinformed and going behind his back. Oh, and by not spending any money in the transfer window. In case you’d forgotten.

Anyone who says we should get behind Joe Kinnear and the team is an absolute disgrace.

We must stop our pointless campaign of hate towards all outsiders until we are relegated – only then will they learn never to mix with us simple northern folk again.

I propose that we boo from start to finish and if Joe Kinnear dares get off his bench we must all stand together and shout ‘death to all cockneys’.

If you are out on the street before or after the game it is your duty as a Geordie to wrap anyone you think is not a local in a bedsheet and give them a good kicking – no boots to the head mind, unless its a cockney of course.
