Joe Kinnear has talked today about there needing to be more communication on the field from his Newcastle team.

Apparently off the field too, the players haven’t not had too much to say, until of course this week when Joe has coaxed the lads to talk more about things.
On the field too there is not enough communication, and Joe has already asked Steven Taylor to organize the back four during games and make sure they are coordinated and together. Obviously it’s a little difficult for Coloccini to do that, because of his lack of English.
And it looks like Joe will be welcoming back Joey Barton, who we know always had a lot to say, and Kinnear things his talking on the field will help things when he comes back against Sunderland. That game is on 25th October, and it will be a tough one, with Sunderland almost beating Arsenal today, but for a 93rd minute equalizer from the Gunners.
Joey should be very fit physically, because he’s been training since he got out of jail, literally, and will only need to become match fit.
The former Wimbledon boss said today:
“We need somebody to be ranting and screaming information and information has to come out on the pitch.” “We don’t have that at the moment. I imagine when Joey Barton comes back that might change. He’s a chirpy lad with things to say and he might improve things on the communication front.”
“We certainly need people who are going to express themselves to sort things out because you can’t always do it from the touchline.” “Have I spoken to Joey? Yes. He’s fine. I’m not going to repeat a private conversation but he’s been OK.”
“To be fair, all the players have been responsible; I have the highest respect for them. But the communication hasn’t been good, that’s the key area where we’ve got to improve. We’ve had two solid days on that.”
So we can look tomorrow for more talking from the lads on the field, and also look for the defense to be a lot tighter than it’s been since Keegan left. We will not get any points tomorrow unless the defense plays a lot better than it’s done for many a game.

its a tough place to go get a result, i just wana watch a game on the tele with my team putting a performance in and i think joe has the ability to get the best out of them, if what joes said won’t get a response then i dont no what will, maybe a trip to the job centre.

However, i do rate Joey, and if he channelled all that bloody aggression into his football, he’d be the engine of our team. could be a fantastic box to box midfielder, looking forward to seeing him return.

Whether we lovw barton or hate him the simple fact is that he is our best midfielder at the minute (obviously jonas is class but barton is proven in prem) so lets just forget all the shit & back the lad! if he flys in to diouf & nails him in the derby we’ll all love him again! of course a few defence splitting passes & goals would be nice to. I think once he’s back try & get him & guthrie to form a partnership as they can both defend or attack, butt is coming to the end we should use him sparingly.

Steven Taylor shouldn’t be organising the back four! When ever he tries to boss the back four he fails miserably, and plays even worse.
In fact, with Beye and Enrique fit, Taylor shouldn’t even be IN the back four!!
