Kinnears comments were completely justified, the press cannot expect to treat clubs like absolute dirt and then not get any critisicm back.

Joe Kinnear went up 100 points in my book after he told the press exactly what he thinks of them.

…But i defo wouldn’t be standin’ up for the lousy press in a million years…
…They are naive at best…It’s about time a few more people stood up against their bully-boy tactics…They cry ‘foul’ when someone gives ‘em some back…They have the power to belittle any/everyone…So, carry on JK, tell ‘em what you think of them…All they can do is slag him off for a few weeks anyway!..

No offence taken mate. I’ve been living in Australia for the last 15 years so I don’t know Holt as well as you do, but having read that dreadful article he wrote about Reading FC I did already have a few doubts about him.

Having said that, I did think that his recent article about NUFC was much more balanced, and worth reading by a wider audience (especially by the 77% of pollsters on this site who still seem to think that the sun shines out of Joe Kinnear’s @rse)

Oh well, that’s enough for now. It’s getting very late over here and it’s time for this old man to hit the sack.

Unfortunately you have taken my comments as a dig against yourself, which they weren’t meant to be, instead they were directed towards Holt. I have read and listened to Holt on various occasions, i remember a time he was on Talk Sport ripping Tony Cascarino to shreds about a weekly column he used to write, giving his informed opinion about the ins and outs of football. Holt was incredibly patronising, embarrasing and downright disrespectful to an ex pro, who has vast experience playing in the uk and France. Holt is just one of the boys that make up Her Majesty’s gutter press. Once again Chris I didn’t mean to offend you mate.

OH DEAR GOD HE SAID NASTY WORDS THE WORLD IS ENDING!

People need to realise that these “swear” words are just “words” that for some unknown reason people frown upon. He lost his patience and swore many times, who gives a sh*t?

Also, I second Ganiyu shutting the hell up. Seriously, I’ve no idea if you’re trolling or if you genuinely are that stupid.

Simon Bird’s article today was not that bad – the headline (which he claims not to write) actually put a negative spin on the article and bore little reflection to the article content.

Still this is not good enough. Sack the rags!! I aint buying another Daily Mirror, Star, Sun, Mail…. Looks like the Times or the Guardian for the time being.

I said this on Friday – I pi$$ed myself laughing after the first few lines.

For all intense and purposes it doesnt bother me in the slightest but if I was to do that I would get the sack.

JFK is in the unique position and the business is a million miles away from my lowly position.

Take it with pinch of salt and worry about things that do matter – ie Man City at home & then Mackems away.

That will be a high octane, high spirited game which will be probably one of the best matches out of all the local derbys this side of the year!
