Best news i’ve heard in ages! I’d say the most important thing here is to allow Gutierrez a fairly free role! Especially (agreeing with Hadji) if we’re gunna play counter-attacking football!

Jonas can run at players and has shown for the most part a real skill/knack for keeping possession or getting free kicks – therefore if the rest of the team stays in a strong structure and we let him just dot around the pitch we’ll have both the defensive and creative capabilities to get a point if not all 3!

Good line-up in my opinion maybe bring Ameobi on later if we need to change the forward structure but that will be how we start if all those players are fit… And Duff cant be dropped hes playing to well guys plus his Irish and JK loves that!!

My thoughts with Colo as the DMF, is because Citeh have been playing With Jo up top, and SWP, Elano & Robinho behind him…With Colo playing there I thought he’d be a better physical challenge for one of the Citeh 3 Att mids, than Butt.
I guess we’ll have to await JK’s team selection!!

Jakarta…..He has to stick with it,you can’t go all out against a super attacking team such as City.
4-5-1 is a must for this game with counter attacks only cos i can’t see our current team doing a positional build up play with players who are scared to hold the ball for more than 3 seconds.We lack creation so so much that’s why it is my opinion that counter attacks would be the best option against City.
If he thinks that he can beat Man City with attacking football…..he’s so so wrong.

I like the look of Hadji’s setup, but how about this ides…take Butt out of the equation, and sit Colo in front of a back two of Tayls & Cacapa?

Cant wait to see Spidey back, and then Barton to follow will be nice to see…

Yeah good team Hadji, and you fit in both Duff and Zoggy. My only thing with that team, is that I don’t like when Owen plays on his own up front.. it doesn’t play to his strengths..

…and Butt is crap, but not much we can do there, until Barton is back. I would keep my team as posted in #4, just replace Barton with Butt or Geremi.. depending on who is least crap in training.
