Joey’s Being Treated Like A Mass Murderer

Joe Kinnear complained today that Joey Barton has been treated like a mass murderer.

Joe Kinnear – doesn’t like treatment Joey is getting

Joe was rather dejected when he talked to the Sunday Sun but still thinks the lads didn’t do too bad:

“I thought we deserved something today,” “I thought we did ok, and had the best chance when Shola Ameobi went through with just the keeper to beat.”

“I’m disappointed we dropped off and conceded a free kick we didn’t need to for their winner, but it was a fantastic free kick. Otherwise, there was nothing between the teams.”

On the Joey Barton incident when he was warming up as a substitute during the second half, Kinnear said:

“I didn’t see any incident. I was watching the game.” “It’s a bit unfair – it’s not Joey Barton’s fault, is it? He has been in the thick of everything this week.”

“Every mass murder that has gone on in this country, his name has been associated with.”

Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given admitted he was a little shaken by being confronted by two Sunderland fans, who came on the pitch after Kieran Richardson’s stunning bullet winner.

“If they’d have got any nearer, I don’t know what I would have done,”

As we said earlier today, Joey will get some heat from away fans and even from some opposition players. He’s just going to have to go through that, and you can look on  it as part of his punishment, for the foolish acts he has committed.

We do hope however, that Joey comes through all this, and if he does he will be a lot stronger person and a much better guy than he was, that’s for sure.

But it will be stern test.

though i doubt things will get worse than this for barton he will have to get used to it (not the violence as that just proves they are as bad as barton was if not worse) he will be treated worse even than ronaldo as we have seen so far against arsenal and the scum the real difference will be that players will want to have a go and test barton

Can anyone remember the outcry about DIOUFF the Spitter?
Strange that the SCUM are looking to emulate their hero.
The cowardice shown by the minority of their fans, throwing bottles coins etc whilst our fans are in captivity reminds me of a small boy pulling the legs off a fly.
I do however admit that their result was without doubt the best result they have had for 28 years but to put it into context, they won by a good freekick ,against what i believe to be the worst squad of players assembled at newcastle, in our worst ever position, that said ,we have some class players comming back, Barton, Owen, Duke, Jonas, our first team (if available) would wipe the floor with the scum, but, and its a big but, our squad is not deep enough in quality which begs the question ,why dont we blood some of the young talent we have ?
    Come on the toon !!!!
Whoever is in charge and whoever owns the club, we need to back the players on the pitch and not succumb to the negativity which is so easy to fall into, Sing ,Sing and scream and shout, be heard and show the team we are behind them ,the results will come and all of this doom and gloom will soon be lifted .
Well thats my rant over with, and i`l be there on tuesday with my son and daughter ,screaming and shouting for the lads, not being able to talk properly on wednesday,a small price to pay for what is hopefully 3 points…..

Joey Barton is the man! I am getting his name on my new away shirt. He is fast becoming one of my favourite players.

well said Spyro i think Bartons gunna be really good for us now he is back and seems focused.

thought the fans running on to the pitch to get at Given was a total joke – they need to get there stewarding sorted – players shouldnt have to put up with that sh*t.

and i was down the front when there fans ran over to ours and i dont know whether they were expecting more back up but the ones who made it to us looked like they were gettin a right hiding before the stewrads split it up, ha!
