O’Hurley, you sound like me. I’m looking forward to getting to SJP someday. An A’m werkin’ on me accent, like. Get yersel a copy of Wicked Geordie. It’s a Geodie-English dictionary. It’s good fun and you’ll pick up some of the slang that some of the lads on here throw around.

I grew up in Savannah but live in Denver now. Gotta find a good pub to watch games at. Search on Google, there might be a NUFC fan club in Nashville. Then again, Tennesee ain’t exactly proper football country.

Toonlad- Honestly, I can’t remember that bar lol! But bars come and go in Nashville all the time. The downtown district has VASTLY improved since you’ve been here. MUCH trendier, MUCH nicer, and many fewer bums on the streets. My favorite bar/pub is a place called Dan McGuinness Irish Pub. They show Premier League games every Saturday. It’s about the only place in town that does, and it’s MASSIVELY popular. People ower here are actually gettin’ into their footy. If you’re ever down this way, let me know in advance, and I’ll make sure that y’all get the proper tour! It’s better when you get to see all the little hole-in-the-wall places that make it great. I’m glad it’s me hyem, like!

O’Hurley : Visited Nashville in 1999 and had a great time. Visited that place with the horses sitting at the bar upstairs (sorry forget the name).
I wouldn’t mind gannin’ back to Nashville to be quite honest. Bit of boot scootin’!!

Toonlad- thanks for the education! So Wor Jackie, is “Our Jackie”. Cool. I’m trying to brush up on my Geordie dialect in preperation for a future pilgrimage to Newcastle. I’m the only person I know here in Nashville that supports the Toon. I’ve even got my replica shirt (all official with just the number “9″ on the back. No name, so as to pay homage to ALL the great #9’s ["wor" Jackie included:)]. I’ve even got a car sticker on the back of my car! So, I guess I’m “gannin” back to work now, lad:)
