Soderberg Back For The Bairns Tomorrow At Sheffield

18 year-old top Swedish goalkeeper Ole Soderberg will finally return to action tomorrow for our Youth team, after he has recovered from his broken wrist.

Ole Soderberg returns to the Youth team at Sheffield tomorrow

Newcastle United Under-18s, who are top of the Academy league travel to Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow.

Ole suffered the injury during the warm-up at Liverpool back in September, and has not played since that time.

Star striker Nile Ranger will again line up at center forward for the Youth side, and he has already scored 12 times for the Academy this season.

Newcastle Under-18s will field the following side for the 12:00 pm kick-off at Middlewood Road, Sheffield.

Ole Soderberg, Phil Airey, Shane Ferguson, Brad Inman, Jeff Henderson, James Tavernier, Conor Newton, Greg McDermott, Nile Ranger, Sam Ameobi, Michael McCrudden
Subs: Dan Leabitter, Max Johnson, Dan Williams, Stewart Bath, Campbell Bell

We’ll have a report of the game, after it completes, and hopefully the youngsters can get yet another win. They’ve been playing really well this season – and Richard Money is doing extremely well in his new role as Academy Director.

There are some good things going on at the club, in these troubled times, and the big one is our youngsters, as we have many many young stars now at Newcastle United.

Howay The Bairns!

    Off topic –

Just read a heart warming article about Sibi:

Would’ve been nice if he could’ve played.

Who are these quality players he is looking at in the dressing room. I havent heard one pundit say newcastle are to good to go down. They are not. West ham, leeds and forest all had quality players when they were relegated. I dont think newcastles squad is as good as those mentioned who were relegated. Given is newcastles best player but i expect him to be off if harry redknap does make an offer.

I posted this earlier but it seemed more appropriate here.

    Guys please!!!!

AO is a pathetic, self absorbed, attention seeking little child, he comes on this site with the intention of validating his exsistence by brokering confrontational discussion purely to illicit as many responses as possible. This serves to re-enforce his deluded self opinion that his importance within the galaxy is without equal. He is a very sad little boy, without friends, a social schedule or even a life. Acknowledging him by responding to his posts only serves to encourage him.

Pity him for he is a Spurs supporter, but do not mock him!!!!!

    ryan-fibber!

expatmag- thankyou for that character assassination. I will remember never to call on you for a reference.

ronaldeano- yawn. jenas , woodgate and ginola before them have all said what a step up spurs was. The last player to leave spurs for newcastle citing them as a bigger club was stevie carr. He was to embarressed to admit he was going for the money. Makes me laugh to think that once he left we had two top 5 finishes and won a trophy. And where is he now? Career ruined by playing for the barcodes.

Spurs is a step down you mong

You are inferior to us and will always be in our wake. Your poxy little club will NEVER get into the CL, never mind the last 16 of it. Nor will you finish in the top 4 of the PL.

Why did you not come on here when Ramos was your manager?

AO, you are a coward. A spotty little boy with nothing elce to do than come on a huge clubs blog because your own clubs is shite and smaller than NUFC.

Redknapp is the medias little rent boy who gives them something to print. “Super Harry, our savior” Bollocks. Your savior is a bellend and im so glad he dident come up here to the toon when asked, id rather have Kinnears dog run this club than that buffoon.

And by the way, the women in Newcastle are some of the finest looking women i have ever seen, unlike london where they stink of shit.

ronaldeano- Or should that be rumplestiltskin. You are getting very worked up arent you. I can sort of understand why you are getting upset. When i was 6 or 7 i used to get upset when liverpool fans teased me about my team being rubbish. Like you , i used to argue back but i knew deep down that liverpool were the best team but i could console myself with the fact we always picked up the odd trophy here and there.

Of course you probablyt havent seen the toon win a trophy in your lifetime so have little to fall back on. But dont dispair. Football success goes in cycles and surely your time will come. I very much doubt you will have to wait another 50 years for success. So calm down and breath slowly before you stamp through the floor.
