Oba Martins would be quite happy if Newcastle gave the job to Joe Kinnear full time.
Oba Martins – happy if Joe was permanent manager
Martins told The Sun today:
“Joe should get the job permanently because stability and support are what the club needs,”
“We have a manager who does not seek the glamor of handling a Premier League club, he does his own thing the best way he can and so far we are just having fun,” “The club should stick with him.”
“Joe has a soft mind outside football but the fire of the game burns inside him and you can tell from the way he speaks.” “I don’t mind that he swears. Every manager has his style so you could call that the Joe Kinnear way.”
“What you hear is a passionate man. As long as it works for Newcastle, the fans and players don’t care what the rest of the world thinks.”
We think the players would be happy with some stability at the club, whatever decision is finally made.
It’s the uncertainty of who will be manager next week, that cannot be helping the Newcastle players or coaches right now.
The sooner we get some kind of stability, even if it’s just for this season, the better for all concerned.

Comment #6He is such a good sport. He and Beye represent the attitude that the rest of the team need to emulate. Love of the team and a firm belief we can always do better.

Comment #8Off topic, but might be interesting:
The two players Kinnear has identified are John Arne Riise who is currently 3rd choice at Roma and the other one is either Denilson (Kinnear is a good friend to the voyeur) or Christopher Samba.
I think to get Denilson on loan is rather impossible, becouse of the injury walcot has got.
Samba is good, but will blackburn send him out on loan? I don’t think so…
