lets calm down about jk. he is not what we need in the long term. we have seen this in recent weeks. yeasterdays performace was excellent but he is NOT the answer. just another glenn roeder type situation. if he gets us full time we will stay where we currently are.

Take it easy. Credit to KK for Bassong – took him on trial and said ‘yes’.
Good display of desperate defending but needed Shay, good luck and a Chelsea off-day to pull it off.

All I’m saying is lets not start saying how many we’ll put past Boro and will we qualify for Europe just yet like we usually do.

Elfer I think the big problem was that he didn’t really have a viable outlet, most of our players were hoofing the ball out of defence due to the incessant Chelsea pressure. The order ofthe day was desperate defence and I thought he coped as well as anyone else. I would have to agree that the biggest problem yesterday was Butt’s mindless passing he very nearly cost us the game. The sooner we get a replacement for him the better.

Bill F (Original) disagree, enrique locked not always that good…he threw the ball away too often.

He needs to stop that, but I’m afraid time is not on his side. We need another left back and I would prefer Warnock over Riise. I do not write off enrique completely, he’s still young and can be a decent leftback, but at the moment we need a Warnock or even a Riise.
