tom4nufc- Kinnear actually said that he had two players lined up, both who are apparently within the 10 million pound bracket. According to him, neither start in the sides they are currently with, but in his eyes are both top of the range players. He admitted one was in Rome, which everyone seems to think would be Riise, however Riise moved to them for under 4 million, so if that is who Kinnear is talking about then wires are crossed somewhere, bigtime. He is worth nothing near 10 million.
The other apparently has scored against us this season, but i cant see any player who isnt starting, but has scored against us. I seriously doubt its Denilson, i cant see Wenger letting him go, as at the moment he is arsenals first choice DM.

Do you Honestley think £20 million is going to Get this Great Club back on track ? Why are we in this Position ..Ashley wise and Co stabbed kevin in the Back, they knew we were very short on players and Did nothing, Michael will be leaving along with Shay and maybe Oba come the summer..Joe is a puppet for ashley releasing bits of info to keep us hanging in there and going to the match, What has joe done since coming to the Club ? Very little in my Opinion….1pt from wigan and fulham !!!its time to relise we are in melt down, a Sad Sad year in NEWCASTLE UNITED’S History……………

He said the player from Roma would cost 2million to get him over here!!!!!

There where two other 10million rated players he was trying to get on loan, plus a player who scored against us this season, hope that clears things up.

I wonder how much would Ashley get in the Summer if Newcastle’s qualified for the Uefa Cup.Probably 290-300 max.
Right now he can’t get more than 230,so all he has to do is to invest 20-25 mill in Jan and hope that we could somehow qualify for the Uefa Cup and then sell us in the Summer for his 40 mill profit.

I don’t know. The only one who does is staying quiet, and his silence is deafening.

One thing though, ED, is it possible to find picture of Ashley where he doesn’t look completly evil. I mean in every one of the then he either looks like a serial killer, with man boobs or in the case of this one, plotting world domination.
It’s a wee bit scary if you don’t mind me saying. LOL!!

We need to strengthen theres no doubting that. I was thinking about the whole Owen situation yesterday, now as much as I rate him as a player lets be honest look how many good CF’s we’ve lost down the years: Cole (Goal machine) Sir Les (Goal Machine & Pure Toon Legend) Tino (enigma not much more to say lol). Now we survived losing these guys & they did a lot more for our club than Owen who says we wont survice losing him? Changed my mind on it now if he wants out F**k him let him go & get someone else in who wants to play for an amazing club & world class fans like us. I think we should try either for someone poven like a Ashton or bent or give a younger hungry striker a chance like Beckford at leeds. But i’d prefer proven obviously.

Clearly, JFK is still well outside the loop of what goes on at SJP. But I despise the way they use whoever has any credibility with the fans to make any kind of announcement, from Mort, to Keegan and now Kinnear. And yet certainly the last two have no more clue about what is really happening and what the interim owner’s real intentions are than any of the rest of us.

ED, this hasen’t to be made up as a “bad” story…I think there are some good things ahead of us:

a) the club will be sold by the end of the year, so the new owners will provide full power into our transfers (unlikely).

b) at least we are prepared and kinnear got’s his list! MA must raise some funds, even if they are only for loan players…I think there’s more than a realistic chance, that he will offer that money (eve if it’s only for him to not loose too much money in the end).

So you can always look at situations as a positive one or a negative one. I prefere the first!

ED-Any optimism that I had of a sale before the January window is slowly being eradicated.All we seem to get is SPIN and more SPIN.The only people who genuinely know of anything are Ashley and his cronies,Keith Harris and the potential buyers.Joe Kinnear will remain manager for the rest of the season.We will probably lose MO in January,Xisco and Gonzalez will go too.We need 4 or 5 players in.Will Joe get them, time will tell.Ashley has made an Arse of running this club-F**kin’ Clueless to be frank!!.If we go down he can kiss goodbye to any thoughts of £280 million for the club and we the fans will suffer more indignation!!.
