Steve Harper will get a run-out tonight for the Newcastle Reserves side when they face Liverpool at Whitley Park tonight, in a 7pm KO.
Steve Harper – in Reserves side tonight
After having their five game unbeaten streak ended at Everton last week, Richard Money and his lads will be hoping for a better result when they oppose Liverpool’s strong Reserves side this evening.
Newcastle Reserves will line up with the following side with David Edgar and Andy Carroll also getting a game:
Steve Harper, Phil Airey, Darren Lough, Mark Doninger, David Edgar, Tamas Kadar, James Marwood, Brad Inman, Andy Carroll, Fabio Zamblera, Shane Ferguson.
Subs: Jeff Henderson, Ole Soderberg, Sammy Ameobi, James Tavernier, Nile Ranger.
We’ll not mention that Harper in the side raises the average age of the team by over a year. 😀
We’ll have a report of the game later today.

You are the perfect example of the COMMON football follower…. Know nothing about football BUT you support A TEAM when they are winning!!
Just like when Spuds were bottom….do you remember AO??? I believe your words were…….

Comment #10westoon- I find your obsession with me amusing but you will die of high blood pressure if you continue to get worked up. Maybe play world of warcraft or watch the golden girls (always make me chuckle) on uk gold for a couple of hours until you are breathing calmly again.

Comment #13I think Nile is on the bench so that he can get a runout, but so can the other strikers, such as Carroll and Zamblera.

Comment #15Harper will be on his way soon. He was commentating on Radio 5 the other week and he said he was sitting in the dugout too much for his liking these days.
