If you want to get rid of strikers see below.
Smith Useless
Viduka Crocked
Carroll Aint gonna make it
Ameobi Could bring in some money
Owen Sell while we still can

Bring in Ashton, W. Ham ready to sell, it`s a chance I know but better than keeping what we have.
Ashton and Martins could be the new Shearer and Bellamy type pairing.
Lets try for Appiah while we are at it.

To be honest, Carroll and Smith are both useless.

I don’t mean to be fussy but why do people insist on promoting Xisco and showing photos of a goal that rebounded off his head and game in which Xisco makes me look prolific? I liked the goal he scored from the edge of the box mind but you’re not doing the kid any favoura posting that Under 21 game. The best thing about the link was that led to the Newcastle vs Stockholm video. Forget the plot, enjoy the ladies.

xisco was a very promising player rated highly by managers and scouts worldwide, and he’s also very highly recommended in footy manager 08… i reckon we should give him a fair shot before passing judgement

It is a shame that we expect this kid to be amazing yet he aint gettin a chance to play. I’m sure if we weren’t in the relegation zone he prob would. Joe might play him in the FA cup against Hull. Good call to try & loan some Arsenal youngsters as there only competition is over this season. Anyone seen Wiltshire? he’s only 16 but he’s like a young joe cole! plus Gibbs would be decent for LB fast as hell & is a real attacking wb. Wouldn’t mind Diaby either like a young viera would slot in well in our mid. Please Arsene do us a Favour!

Xisco will need time to adapt to the PL and at 22 he is still one for the future. We did pay a lot of money for him, maybe too much, but it’s too early to say he’s not good enough.

He’s been playing in a very poor side and any striker without the ball in a goal scoring area will look bad.

Current strikers are::

Viduka – Will leave Newcastle end of current season if not before
Martins – Must keep him
Owen – If he doesnt sign new contract we should sell him as need the funds
Carroll – Good future; need to send him on loan
Xisco – Give him time; he’ll be ok
Ameobi – Sell in January as we need the funds
Smith – Sell in January if any one will buy him as we need the funds
Ranger – Great future
Zamblera – Good prospect

whilst ameobis form has been good we really need to get rid of him and smith in the summer and start moving some of the younger kids in. They are winning matches and showing some real quality

agree that was alot of chances that he missed in that u21 game but that also shows that he has very good positioning to make that many chances for himself.

Obviosly, he is a replacement for Viduka, Owen or even Smith.
I say loan him out to a championship club so that he can adapt into English football.
Or, sell 2 of those 3 mentioned, give him the time to shine

i say let both owen and viduka go in jan (their combine wage is not worth the goals they score) and make way for martins carroll xisco ameobi the younger bunch can grow. look a lil ahead; martins is a Nigerian international, carrll is u21-int, xisco is u21-int and ameobi can still handle his own.
